I’ve never used a Briki but trying the Mediterranean way of eating so I purchased authentic Greek coffee to use in this. However, I used the packet of Turkish coffee they send with this and liked it. They also send detailed instructions, a $5 Amazon gift card and cleaning wipes. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, handle didn’t get hot and it’s super cute! The only con for me, is it does take 3-4 minutes to boil on medium heat and I’m usually heading to my Keurig first thing in the morning for a fast cup of Java! Not sure I’ll use this daily, but it’s nice to have. Seems to be well made.

it was returned, I already had one, I expected the results of this one would be better, but it made me realize that it was not the coffee pot, but the abilities of the operator. Then I did not need a second one and returned it, but needed to develop the skills. I did not use it long enough to determine the quality of the pot, however, I did noticed that the point of welding of the handle and the pot did have small hole. That should not change the coffee quality, but quality is quality.

Of the four starred categories: 1) It makes coffee no matter where in the world you happen to be. You can be in France, yet someone in America can still cook coffee with this unit. 2) This unit is washable. 3) Great value for money. Well hammered. Tin lined interior (as mentioned in the literature that came with it). Metal handle can get hot, so take precautions. Handle very sturdy and fun to look at. 4) The "flavor?" I ran my tongue over the copper and tin. The pot tasted as one might expect. The big surprise was the nice packaging and information therein, which I can't describe in detail because my wife threw it out.

I decided to get some Turkish coffee and, being a coffee fanatic, had to have the proper thing to make it in, so I purchased a very traditional copper cevze. It’s beautiful and sits proudly atop my Pasquini machine. It’s perfect for a single serving of Turkish coffee. It’s hand made and beautifully done. The handle stays cool enough to handle without a pot holder. I love it. It’s a great addition to my coffee habit!
