I still failed the class because my professor was a SELF RIGHTEOUS ARROGANT person who didn't like me. I also got this book 3 weeks before finals when my grade was already unsalvageable. But had I gotten it at the beginning, an above average grade would have resulted without a doubt. Also don't be afraid to drop classes to get different profs.
