I purchased this product to clean some vintage silver pieces it works great nice shine it also came with a polish cloth.

I was expecting to receive the blue liquid that comes in a jar & so very easy to use. This is a pretty pink pretty goop that didn't clean the black junk off a silver necklace, but did clean the silver prayer box on the silver chain. When it comes to cleaning other silver necklaces or other pieces of jewerly.

This is my methodology: 1. put a 6x6 inch or larger or smaller piece of aluminum foil in plastic bowl, you can fold, wad up any to make it fit bowl. 2. put in 6 spoons of baking soda and add a cup of hot water- mix with spoon. (you are now a chemist). 3. add items to be polished to solution. The solution will clean and start the process. Leave items in solution for about 20-30 minutes. Rinse with water, dry with soft cloth (towel). Now the items are clean and ready to be polished. Half the work is finished for the job. 4. After drying, I put the polish on the item(s) with my fingers and rub into every crease and piece of decor on the item. Your fingers will get dark from tarnish that's when you know the polish is really doing its job. 5. Buff with soft cloth or paper towel until item shines. 6. return to solution (step 2 ) for a few minutes. The solution will remove any polish the buffing process missed. 7. remove items from solution, rinse in water, buff dry--your finished. Best polish I have found. Items have high shine when you are finish and well protected from tarnish. hope this helps
