This drone is absolutely fantastic, awesome, great! It takes a while to understand controls, to get used to it. Don't hurry up, learn little by little. It's cheaper to gradually improve your drone's pilot skills, than to buy another drone ;) Be careful, this drone is made of plastic and it is fragile, but it's light and flies great. But, DO NOT FLY IN RAIN or in high humidity/fog, it will damage the drone. Follow the laws and regulations, get a license from FAA, and fly responsibly, and you will have A LOT OF FUN!! Continue. The drone is very responsive, but you can control it. The smart controller is a "must buy", it operates with the drone better than a standard controller, it has stronger signal through the wireless connection (dual band), and makes flights more enjoyable. Also, with the smart controller (and with the correct settings) you can secure your privacy better, because China is WATCHING, remember it! If you operate with a standard controller, you will have to install all the drone's applications into your phone, and the data will be stored on Chinese servers (controlled by Communist Party in accordance to laws of China), which may jeopardize your privacy and even identity ("identity theft risk"). By using a smart controller, you can avoid these risks. Also, these smart controllers have very nice bright screen (you can buy a screen protector apart, there are good ones on Amazon). Joysticks come together with a smart controller, they are hidden under antennas. Be careful flying in darkness, the drone's camera is great for a day-time flights, but doesn't have night vision mode (but you can buy a night or thermal vision camera apart and install it if you're a legal permanent resident being in the United States). This drone has phenomenal capabilities, and can be used for filming, for security/LE measures, and just for fun! Don't get surprised when you will start enjoying these flights even more than you expected! The Chinese engineers did a great job making this model, and now (finally!) healthy capitalist relations between our countries help everybody to be happy, as it should be! I absolutely recommend this drone to buy, it is as seductive as MAGA as soon as you try it! Have fun!

I love my New Zoom! I sold my DJI Phantom 3 Pro and my DJI Spark to get this one. I love the Zoom!!! It’s not only easy to fly, but it takes amazing video and pictures! I can’t wait to use it at our summer camp and to take it hunting! I want to film some hunts but will need to figure out how to do it w/ out spooning the quarry! The clarity when I put it on my laptop was mind blowing!!!!! I haven’t shot the videos that I want to yet but just so simple shots around the house, but I’m stunned by how amazing the colors pop and the incredible clarity. The Zoom option is the reason I bought it and I was really pleased w/ how much it can zoom in! I often will forget I have it on and only later when descending realize how far I’m up! It is the best DJI drone I’ve owned and I think their best product out thus far! If your thinking about it, do it! I promise you’ll won’t be disappointed and it will blow you away w/ the pics and videos you can take! Happy flying

I'm not exactly sure what year the guys from DJI are from, but its not the 2010's or 2020's. The technology they are creating, and innovating, with really no other competition, is mind boggling. The only explanation is they are from the distant future and DJI created a time machine, probably what the Mavic Pro 5 is going to come with, and they are currently in our dimension to "wow" us. Seriously, though. I have owned some drones in the past from DJI but the Mavic Pro 2 is something special. I paid roughy $1499 for mine, although the price seems to fluctuate these days due to changing tariffs. I would say if you work in the professional photo or video realm, this piece of tech is worth every penny and more. In fact, if I were to lose or break mine and had to buy a new one, and they were now selling for $2,500... I'd still buy it. Thats how much I value this piece of equipment. Work I've done with my drone includes wedding films, YouTube videos, landscape photos for canvas prints, land surveillance, dolphin watching (and Manta-ray watching, yes Id fly it out from the beach shoreline and you can see these awesome animals in their habitat), self filming (using the built in tracking), and general photography and videography from viewpoints otherwise inaccessible. The thing about drones that some people overlook, is they arent just for video, flying over awesome landscapes to get cool video. These things basically give you range and POV that was previously impossible for creators. I included a shot I took of a protest at Jackson Square in New Orleans, this shot would've been impossible without a helicopter 10 years ago. The 1" sensor on this drones camera is noting short of incredible. Some Full Frame users (such as myself, I shoot with an a7iii) will scuff at such a "small" sensor which is honestly silly. Its still much larger than your phone or a GoPros sensor, and it does an incredible job with image quality, both video and photo. Low light, this is the best drone ive ever used as well. Although generally the best time to fly for me is sunrise and sunset. Its when the Earth is most beautiful, and this drone captures every square inch of beauty. This thing apparently can go around 5 miles from the controller!? Ive never even taken it a full mile away (ive gotten close though). I cant imagine going that far, although if the situation called for it, I would. With that said, ive had exactly ZERO issues with losing connectivity. Ive never once had any scares (with the exception of a mamma bird trying to attack it once when I was close to a nest unbeknown to me). The last thing Ill say about this drone that just makes me gush is the portability. When you open the box and get familiar with it, its like these guys just refined every possible thing. The controller breaks down so intuitively and folds up, the drone gets small enough to the size of a DSLR footprint, so it fits in most of my camera bags easily. I never go to a shoot without this thing. My essentials for any shoot is my camera body, my 24-70, and my drone. Its that simple, this is an essential piece of kit to me, and I cannot say enough good things about it. I dont even have anything negative to say. I won't say the battery life is bad, 30 minutes of flight time is plenty if you plan your shots out and dont just fly aimlessly. Bring an extra battery if you're going on a trip somewhere remote. I'm sure the new Mavic Air 2 is amazing as well, and idk what the Mavic Pro 3 is going to bring because this drone, by almost all my criteria, is near perfect.

Este dron es MUY bueno... La calidad de imagenes y el tiempo de vuelo son excelentes. Tuve un pequeño problema coa batería, pero la compañía se hizo responsable de la garantía y me la cambiaron sin mucho rollo! Duró 2 meses y falló la batería... Desconocen las causas pero se reemplazó rápido y fácil.

Despite the release of newer models, the Mavic 2 Pro still has the best quality camera. This is probably the only compelling reason to purchase the 'Pro' as it is quite a bit more expensive. WIth the addition of the bundled Smart Controller it is the best of the line for cinematic quality.

The manufacturer’s package was small, but reusable as a carrying case with a handle, shipped expedited in a bulk box with Canada Post, and here in 2 business days. Build quality of the multi-rotor and rubberized transmitter is good. Spare propellers, cables and a A/C charger were included. I recommend getting a 100W car power inverter and a 100 mbps or U3 micro SDHC card for in-car charging and 4k recording before checkout. By default, the quad stops moving if it detects an obstacle in the way. In Advanced Pilot Assistance System mode, the quad tries to move around an obstacle. To illustrate how good the obstacle avoidance is, I haven’t replaced the original propellers. Flying restrictions are built into the multi-rotor firmware. Do google TRANSPORT CANADA DRONE for regulations, NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL CANADA UAV for where to fly and PARKS CANADA DRONE for offlimits. Get Airmap, Drone Buddy and B4UFLY on your smartphone for weather/flying conditions and fly zones. If you know cameras and post production editing, get a Pro which has more camera settings than a Zoom. If you just want to fly and take photos and videos, get a Zoom.

Muy satisfecho con el dron, desde que lo tienes por primera vez en mano te das cuenta de la calidad de los materiales, nunca tuve el Mavic Pro original para saber la diferencia pero vengo de un Mavic Mini y este es un Upgrade Brutal en todos los aspectos, aunque el Mavic Mini sigue siendo un excelente dron en las condiciones adecuadas, este dron tiene una señal de transmision increible, no he percibido cortes, congelamiento ni nada parecido, a pesar de volar en un area con posibles interferencias. Mucho más estable incluso con vientos moderados, la calidad de la imagen es realmente buena, yo no soy un profesional, es más un hobbie y que me sirve para compartir en redes sociales y quizás algún proyecto pero nada que no sea posible de realizar con lo basico de programas de edición, así que no me hace falta el sensor de 1” del Mavic 2 Pro, y tampoco suelo hacer vuelos en condiciones de poca luz. Por el contrario el Zoom es una característica que te abre tantas posibilidades creativas, en verdad no me arrepiento de la compra, me hace falta probarlo mucho más pero mi primera impresión es que este dron es excelente y lo recomiendo sin duda

El poder ver el mundo o lugar donde vives desde otra perspectiva es simplemente genial, un dron perfecto con un alcance y prestaciones sorprendentes y el zoom es asombroso. La calidad de imagen y vídeo es muy buena y la duración de la batería es suficiente para tener mucho tiempo de diversión aunque mi recomendación es que adquieras una batería extra para que esa diversión no se vea interrumpida.
