Course I would love to load it up with mini dark chocolate chips, and I do. But I also "dilute" it with raisins, dried fruit and things that have greater health benefit than chocolate (hard to imagine, I know.) This tropical blend is my favorite add-in. Plenty of fruit, whole grains and coconut and actually delicious all by itself. When I toss it in my homemade granola, then I can tell myself that each handful has fewer nuts and chocolate pieces, more nutritious and lower calorie pieces, at is at least equally delicious and better for me. That's a comfort and it may even be true! I've tried lots of tropical blends. This one is my favorite. The chunks are not small and it mixes in easily. In the end I have not only a terrific granola but also the best topping to cereal and especially yogurt that I've ever made. Alone or mixed in, this one is the best.
