I have a very active 26-month-old who usually doesn’t enjoy detailed activities for more than 15 minutes. To my surprise, he absolutely loved playing with all four items! We used the scissors/scoopers to pick up items from water, and used the other tools to transfer pom-poms from one container to another. He stayed engaged for over an hour and still wanted to keep playing. These activities were a great way to keep him busy while also helping him practice fine motor skills. I’m very impressed with this set and highly recommend it!

Love this for my toddler. Great to include in water play or sensory play. Helps with motor skills. My 2 year old has a really good grasp and its a perfect size for her.

We’ve been using these for about four months and they’ve been a big hit. We use them for scooping rice and in sensory bins, and they’ve held up really well. They’re very fun and engaging, and my daughter loves using them. Such a great way to work on fine motor skills while playing. Definitely worth it!

This little set is wonderful for helping kids with their fine motor skills, but there are a couple things I dont love... The alligator tweezers are VERY hard to squeeze together. With most of these types of tweezers I have encountered, they are usually too flimsy- so its nice they are sturdy, but my 3 year old son cant use them... which defeats the purpose. Even for me they are difficult to use because they are very blunt on the end on top of the difficulty with squeezing them so they are not practical for picking up really anything in the sensory bins except maybe very large pom poms or something.... also the scissor hold tongs with the ball on the end (sorry I have no idea what it is called) is made so that the half circles pop off the handle when my son pulls on them. They snap right back in place and work just like they did before, so that is great- but he likes to pull them off and then they can become a choking hazard for the baby or get lost if I am not paying close enough attention. Other wise, they are very sturdy and my son loves them. The yellow pinchers and the dropper are his favorite and work entirely as intended. This is a fun set for sensory bins and bath time. I would definitely recommend it. I do wish they would at least re-think the alligator tweezers and make them more child friendly though....

Great quality set with enough variation to keep little minds occupied. Hands with hand eye coordination and is easy to keep clean and store. Great value!

I really was excited about this set, but it does seem a little on the chincy side for the Learning Resources brand that I have always had great experience with as a mom and teacher. The tweezers aren’t as durable as I would have hoped. The yellow squeeze tool doesn’t shut all the way after multiple uses. This really bums me out because I was excited for this tool for picking up Pom Pom’s and such. The drop tool doesn’t unscrew so it’s super hard to dry out and can develop mold which no one wants! The size is great for toddler hands and they are very safe and cute. Overall, the only tool in this pack that I love is the scoop tool. I wish I had better things to say about this because I was super excited for it, but it didn’t live up to what I was hoping the set and brand would!

I have been after a set like this for ages as I do a lot of fine motor activities at home with my 3 year old to strengthen her hands. We have used all the scoops in various sensory boxes and even in the bath. We have used them for all kinds of games and activities. My daughter even loves putting the scoops back into the packaging so they all fit into their place - which is actually great for perceptual skills 😂 I really like how the large ball scoop has the same handle as scissors would, and so it is a great way to teach little hands how to assume the scissor grasp, and practice a cutting motion without too much resistance. So you get a lot of practice of the motion without tiring the little hands. It’s great!! Love this set!

Not only do these tools look attractive, they are of absolutely great quality and my 2 year old loves using these.
