It contains water, tea, caramel coloring, citric acid, sodium benzoate. I have used this product for many years and absolutely love it.

How much caffeine is in the caffeinated version? I'm looking for a coffee replacement and want a strong tea.

I'm a chemist and wanted to use this for an undergrad college lab experiment to determine the amount of caffeine in tea. I did the experiment myself twice and never recovered any caffeine from the concentrate. I'm guessing if any is in the product, it's less than 5 mg per ounce of concentrate (1 oz makes 1 gallon of tea). Compare that to black Lipton tea which contains around 30 mg per tea bag.
