We like that there are two wheels in the front, which help with stability for our 5 year old to practice and learn on. The light up wheels helped build her confidence on it too – once she realized they lit up if she went fast enough she really started zipping around on it. The adjustable height on the handle is great, we've been able to raise it to keep it fit for her for longer this way. We liked it so much we bought one for our house and then a second one to keep at Grandma and Grandpa's. Mostly plastic construction, so if your kid is very rough and tumble, it probably won't hold up long, but it has been perfect on our sidewalks and neighborhood streets for a while now.
