More than half of the rings don't close properly so that the ring is not smooth and pages catch on the closure. **UPDATE** - the above is true - that they didn't close - however, the company reached out to me and offered a refund, which was quite nice (I would have returned the rings, but I didn't use any until after the return window had closed).
