I use the Adapt Barrier Extenders (Part No. 79402) every day, and they’ve been a game-changer for me. After struggling with the Adapt Barrier Ring (Part No. 7805), I found these extenders to be far more effective in providing the secure fit and peace of mind I need. They hold everything in place perfectly, making my daily routine much easier. One suggestion I have is for Hollister to consider redesigning the Adapt 2-Piece Skin Barriers (Part No. 11203) to incorporate these extenders into one seamless piece. That would make an already great product even better! Like all ostomy supplies, these extenders are pricey if not covered by insurance, but we’re a captive customer base in this situation. Despite that, they’re worth every penny for the reliability and comfort they provide. Highly recommend!

Added security of leakage. New urostomy pt.

Great product. *The lanolin protects and nourishes the skin around the stoma* I had trouble with leakage and skin irritation. So instead of using it over the wafer, I smeared the skin prep/ barrier, placed 3 of these around and as close to the stoma as possible, I placed the wafer over it and it worked beautifully. I highly recommend this product!

For people with Ostomy that are sometimes suffering with leaks or come loose in certain spots these are working great for my husband. They’ve made a real life-changing situation for him. Insurance company’s might provide them them but his doesn’t which is a shame. And I say shame on our insurance companies because for some people they really are essential. It’s worth buying them from Amazon if you need them. The brand works great and no skin irritation!!!!

I have been using these for years and they are the best!!

They are pretty good after a thorough skin prep. they are pretty sticky and require care when applying or you will end up with folded edges rendering them useless. If you do your best to cover with your hand in the shower to avoid direct stream on them they wont be perfect after but they will last at least a few days. I did notice that they don't play well with sweat and will loosen up on a hot humid day being outside so be aware of that. overall they are a nice size and good for a little more leakage protection but I have found that a wax ring, a properly cut out wafer, and a snug ostomy belt that clips on to the wafer will leave you leak free for days on end.
