Carlson Labs Elite DHA, 2270mg Natural Orange, 100 ml

I have been taking about 1000mg of DHA/day (from Carlson's Norwegian Finest lemon flavor) for about a decade and know how well it works. .About 5-6 years ago, I started to develop knee pain. I was told the lining of my knee cap was degenerated so much it was bone-on-bone and I had to tape my knee with kenisiotape in order to walk in 2018. In 2019, I started to use CBD together with the 1000mg DHA and it kept the pain down enough not having to tape my knee so I didn't think about changing anything. However, this year, I had 3 minor surgeries and it took about two weeks for the bruises and tenderness to go away for the first two surgeries in Jan and Apr. When I was scheduled for the third surgery in early Aug, I decided to try to increase the DHA intake after surgery to see if it makes any difference. So I found this product with 2,270mg of DHA per teaspoon, as oppose to 500mg/teaspoon. So I ordered it and as soon as I got home from outpatient the same day, I started to take it 1 tsp/day. I like the orange flavor in this oil a lot less than the lemon flavor of the 500mg one. But it wasn't that bad, tolerable. The orange just doesn't cover the fish smell completely but it's just a little bit and I don't mind fishimess. After a week, the huge bruises were fading away and no pain or tenderness left. At two weeks, my skin around the incisions looked healthy and no sign of bruises left. I went to two-week follow up with the surgeon. The first look at it, his eyes went big and he exclaimed, 'I'm very impressed'. He further commented how healthy it looked. I'm telling you if you think the smell is 'EWW", "Fishy" or whatever, it's worth it! I am continuing to take it because my knee feels like normal without taking CBD with this fish oil. It's pricier but you only take one teaspoon a day so a bottle lasts 4 weeks for me. I'm taking alternately with the 1000mg/day (two 500mg doses) because I still have half a bottle of it left. So it's not much more expensive than the previous one I take. Besides, it's a lot cheaper than the good quality CBD I used before (over $110 for a month supply!) My ex just had pancreatic cancer surgery where they took half of the pancreas and the spleen out. I gave him my bottle a week after surgery and he said he has no pain since he started taking it. I wish I gave him as soon as he got out of surgery but his new gf is ferociously jealous so he didn't dare telling me until 5 days after that he had the surgery and had to arrange meeting at his doctor visit to avoid having me ran into her, lol! I can't subscribe to hatred or negative thoughts so I just do whatever I usually do which is caring about other people. People may think I'm stupid to be nice to my ex who betrayed me but that's his actions and it doesn't alter who I am. I wish they make it with lemon scent though. It'll be perfect. But I'm not complaining the smell.. The health benefit is far out-weigh

There is almost no taste, a slight hint of orange flavor. No belching fish taste either. My sleep has improved, which was not expected. I have been falling to sleep easier and staying asleep longer. I’m looking forward to additional health benefits.

I have been recently been trying to fix some ADHD symptoms and came across the excellent benefits of Omega 3s specifically DHA. Although DHA will not fix all your problems, Omega 3s are an integral part of your everyday health. Since using the product I’ve felt an increase in mental acuity. I’ve had lasik for four years and my vision is also improving and my eyes are not as dry. My ADHD has subsided so long as I eat properly, sleep properly, and exercise daily. So long as I continue to eat salmon/mackerel, kale, blueberries, nuts, water, olive oil, eggs, and supplement DHA I will continue to stay off of medications. My only complaint is that this can product can be tough to swallow since it is so darn oily. Also it should be noted that anywhere between six weeks to a few months of consumption of Omega 3s are required to see results. Also the best way to get Omega 3s and DHA is through the consumption of cold water fish. Three servings of fish per a week is the current recommendation. But this product is an excellent supplement to substitute their weekly consumption.

This is my 2 bottle. My daughter with ADHD greatly benefits from this. She is able to concentrate and her school work has improved dramatically.
