I want to wear these with no wetsuit. I am a waist size 36 in/ 92 cm, what size should I get?

They run true to size. I wear a xxl. Should wear a mud- thigh swim trynoir under amour compression shorts. The shorts material is tough and strong Great product

I have a 44 waist. Will a 3xl fit?

Hello, Yes this should work. Hope this helps, Happy Diving, Instructor Bill OnlineScuba 1 866 728 2293
