My Controller won't connect, the console don’t recognize it or is the controller bad?

I ordered a different controller and it worked to get me started. Once the new controller was added, the controller I thought was broken worked as well.

Does it come with a power cord

yes. power cord was included, but i did not get a mini usb to charge the controller, luckily i have plenty! good luck
