## Description

A great addition for all your Silhouette electronic cutting tools. The one inch grid design makes precise paper alignment and placements. Tacky adhesive temporarily holds media in place while cutting. Holds delicate materials that require a lighter adhesive. This package contains one light hold 12x8 inch cutting mat. Made in USA.

Review: Perfect amount of stickiness for paper and cardstock. - Finally a light hold cutting mat so we can cut paper and not have it stick to the mat and rip apart. This is the perfect amount of stickiness. It did lose it stickiness and become not quite sticky enough after a few dozen uses but I gave it light spray with a fabric adhesive from the fabric store and it was "just right" again. The alternate solution was to take the regular adhesive cutting mat and rub a bath towel on it until it had so much lint that it was a "light hold' mat and wouldn't rip your paper.
Review: Perfect for sticker making! - I bought this because I lost my regular portrait mat (I have no idea how). I was VERY skeptical that this would be any different than the regular one, but in actuality it worked great! My first use with it was for stickers and the back got stuck on one spot only and I was able to carefully remove it without completely ruining my project. With the original mat, the back of the sticker paper would always get stuck and I would have a gigantic mess. This was a very good alternative to it. The price on Silhouette America's website for this is $12.99 currently. I got it on here for about $6.50 which is a great price. These are not sold at my local craft store so my only options are to buy on desertcart (or other online retailers) or to make one myself. Personally, this was a good price in my opinion and it really worked well for the majority of my projects.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very stinky, but light hold doesn't ruin lightweight paper
*by R***N on July 27, 2015*

First off, this thing smells awful. The chemical smell is much worse than a regular cutting mat so if you're especially sensitive to that kind of smell you might hate this. That being said, the light hold still holds paper in place perfectly but doesn't destroy lighter weight paper when trying to remove it from the mat. Trying to use regular 24# paper on a normal mat is a disaster, but the light hold mat works great.
