This product did not improve my gas mileage even after I had my system cleared and tuned by certified mechanic. This product did increase my air intake which did increase my horsepower and speed. It sounds cool as well. Iā€™m generally happy with product however in order to be honest I have not seen an improvement in gas mileage in the last 3000 miles on the highway or in town. I asked K&N's chat and they said they were the same, just this one is California compliant. They really were no help. Great addition!!! *by B***Y on September 28, 2016* Ordered this CAI after tons of looking and reading reviews. I installed it on my 2010 F-150 Platinum 4x4 Screw. Installation was a breeze, I believe it took longer to remove the parts from box and packaging than the actuall installation. One thing to watch for is putting your mass air flow sensor in backwards. (I learned this the hard way because truck would not run). As far as performance I can tell a noticeable difference when passing cars on the highway and getting onto the interstate. I also have got 2 mpg better since installation which is great! The best part of the CAI is that it sound MEAN!!!!
