Anatomy & Physiology, Part 1: Bones, Muscles, and the Stuff That Connects Bones and Muscles

I bought several books for an orphanage in Ethiopia - the kids speak 3 languages, including English and are ravenous readers. They loved this book and all the others I sent!

The Anatomy & Physiology books within the Super Smart Science Series are probably my favorites. They are packed with information and are acting as the spine for a huge unit study that I am making for my home-educated children next year. April Chloe Terrazas has done an amazing job creating quality science resources that cover so many grade levels. My children are 6 years apart in age and it is very rare that they can use the same books at the same time for homeschooling lessons. Just as with the other books in this series; these have useful pronunciation guides, illustrations that are simple, but interesting, and interactivity. Be sure to buy Anatomy & Physiology Part 2, as well!

The illustrations in this little gem are easy for kids to understand and to use as a model for their own diagrams.

This series has gotten better and better. This book meets and exceeds our expectations. Our kids, 6 and 8, we're so excited to get their copy in the mail. This book, as well as the rest of this series, make it fun and easy to learn for all ages. Thank you again for such a wonderful teaching tool. It helps us remember the things we were taught in school too. The illistrations are very lively and draw you in. We look forward to what's in store.

This is a great book for students to learn about the basics of bones, muscles, and the things that connect them. Although the book is designed for elementary students, it works great as a reference tool for high school students. This book is very informative, while being easy to understand. The illustrations are also great. One of the subjects I teach at my high school is health and my students seem to really enjoy using it.

Whether you have a child you want to familiarize science concepts with or you are an adult that wants a fun refresher of science facts; truly fun for all! The book is easy to understand, the pictures are fun yet accurate, and it is very informative. I just gave a presentation at UT over "Hands-on Science Activities for Children" and I introduced this series. I look forward to checking out more books!

… said my 6 year old. He loves this book series and so do I. Frankly, I don't remember a lot from my elementary science classes 40 years ago. Thank goodness for the Super Smart Science Series. My girls and I love this book it's great for review and fun to read, I love that it contains pronunciation, definitions and fun facts about our anatomy and physiology, a great collection for my classroom which, my student will enjoy and love!!!!
