Standard PSI on cylinders is 3000 PSI, I believe. Trust us, we know 1st hand. We have tried the happy ones and find them difficult to plumb and work very slow compared to the KTI. This KTI unit can be found in some dump trailers made in the USA. The price point makes it a perfect replacement choice for our dump trailers. We have used the SPX and have had similar quality results, but a bit more expensive. Seen the Monarch pumps, but the price puts them out of our reach. But why would we ever try with the KTI proving its self over and over. The range in PSI and it's adjustability give it a range of uses. From the factory it needs no adjustment for a dump trailer. We did increase the pressure to max, using a test gauge, for a roll-off system with hydraulic winch to get the fastest speed and max pulling power. Easy to plumb with sae size fittings and wiring diagram included, unlike the cheap import version. Have not had any issues with the cheaper ones other than plumbing and lacking instructions. But save the headache of trying to figure things out. I put oil in hooked up and it worked perfectly *by A***R on August 22, 2018* Very nice pump, good quality, American fittings. When I pulled this thing out of the box, I thought thank god. You could tell it wasn't junk!! I was hesitant cause It was a $100.00 more than that Chinese ones, and worth every penny. Getting tired of cheap products. got it in about 4 or 5 days, the directions were very clear on how to hook it up. I would absolutely but this pump again. Fabricated a rack on the back of my motor home with 2 hydraulic cylinders to raise my 800 lb harley. Did it with no signs of struggle at all.
