Sun Bistro Wooden Playset by Big Backyard

This set is perfect for a toddler. My son has fun on swing but it’s a little small for my 8 year old to climb into top. It is great. Made good and fairly simple to put together. Takes a few hours and have to improvise a little when using some screws. But it is great and my kids love it.

Lumber pieces could have been marked darker and more clearly but all pieces were there. Not too difficult to assemble and pur daughter loves it. Thanks

This is the best priced versus quality on the market right now! It took my hubby 6 hours by himself to build and it’s sooooo perfect for kids 8 and under! I am soooo happy with this purchase!

Several cracks and splits are in the lumber. Not sure how safe this play set is for my grandson to use.

Ok First things first, If you are planning to do this by yourself walk away. This needs sometimes 2-3 people to help put things together. Also, If you have never put anything this complex together expect it to take anywhere from 10-16+ hours depending on if you run into the problems we ran into. (The instructions say 4-8hrs. The most complex thing I have put together was a garden bed.) When I first opened the box I pulled out everything to inventory it and organize all pieces. It took me well over an hour to inventory considering more than half of the wood pieces had eligible numbers printed on them. I had to rewrite them in a black marker after verifying size and pre-made holes against the inventory list in the instruction book. It was a nightmare considering several pieces are very similar. As you can see in some of the pictures, some pieces came in warped and slightly splintered/split. The warped pieces were packed onto the slide which gave them a bend. Now onto the actual instruction book. It was very difficult. You need to not only read the instructions a few times but you need to also look at the pictures and look at every detail. You are suppose to have some boards a certain way which is not explained in the actual instruction and if you do not look closely enough to the picture and pay very close attention to the details you will be unscrewing and loosening a lot. And I mean a lot. I can not express this enough. Several times I was ready to push the whole thing over when I was on step 12 and realized that in step 4 we had something flipped wrong b/c the wholes were not lining up. The instructions seem very detailed but they skip some steps. Several times the next picture had something put together that was not done yet, or they had you connect something that we felt should have been done before the previous step. It was extremely frustrating. Some of the holes were not lining up properly. We had to go to our local hardware store to get different bolts and nuts to provide a better fit. Some pieces that were suppose to fit tightly on the structure were a little to big and I had to sand them down to get them to fit. Overall It took us 3 days (granted I was working by myself for about 75% of it) but my daughter is very excited. There is a slight tilt to the bistro set up, it's not bad but it came from us having something put on wrong that was not lining up by the time we got to a step where we found out, to get it out we would have had to deconstruct everything that we had worked on (about 5 hours of work) to get it out. As you can see it's not a bad lean, very slight and the whole set has a good weight to it, so we felt it was not detremental to our toddler playing on it. If I had to rebuild again I would probably hire someone. Save myself from the blisters, cuts and the headaches. But again I can not deny that it put a huge sile on my daughters face for her third birthday.

Great quality and just what we expected. We will get plenty of use out of this swing set. Some pieces of the directions were a little confusing but we managed to get it put together. I didn’t time how long it took us to build but I’d guess around 6 hours.

It's a great set for my 3 year old son!

Cheapest kit on here at the time. Kid loves it!
