Asli White Corn Meal Coarse (Ugali Flour) - 4 Pounds

This corn meal is of exceptional quality, it is about the healthiest breakfast cereal with no chemical additives, it is very easy to prepare and unlike most corn meal it does not lump if you boil the water before adding the corn meal. my family has used this corn meal for years and no one has increased their weight.

Too coarse to make edible Ugali. You can feel the huge particles of corn when eating the "Ugali" and the taste is just awful, nothing remotely close to Ugali. I had to take the whole Ugalu I had cooked and throw it outta the window and trash the rest of the flour. Total waste of money!

I bought this so my husband could make ugali like he loves to eat in Kenya. He says it was good flour, I bought both offered, one is courser than the other, together they did well. He froze it on arrival in case of any weevils in it which supposedly die when frozen, so he put it in mason jars & it is stored in the freezer. Makes good ugali.

A bit too coarse for sadza but still good for porridge. The less coarse one they have is perfect for african sadza.
