I will put it this way: I would not buy it again. In fact, I think I threw it out.

What is the difference between the "Austrian Windproof Lighter" and the Vintage Austrian Windproof Lighter" you sell both for different prices?

Imco went out of business in 2012 after making about a half a billion lighters. The company made 3 types fuel oil lighters. The Triplex, the Junior, and the Streamliner. The so called "vintage" and "classic" are Chinese junk. Just like the one in the pic. If the Bottom says "come of Austria" or comes with a box it Chinese. Imco never sold these lighters with a box. They were sold from displays similar to the Bic lighters If you're going to buy one. Make sure it doesn't ship from China. The original ones come from European countries. Hope this helps.

If this lighter happens to be upside down (such as in a pocket or camping bag), will fluid leak out?

I have 3 of these and none have ever leaked. If you over fill the excess drips off the wick after a few seconds and then you are good to go.
