Pro: The content of this book is very clear, straightforward and covers every single aspects you should consider when developing a Business Plan, or simply defining the structure and operations of your company. The layout, paper quality, colors as well as the various charts, quotes, worksheets and appendixes make this book surprisingly pleasant to read. I learnt a lot of things, and now know exactly what is expected on a business plan and its appropriate structure. Con: You will need to buy the excel financials either from the vendor's website or by buying a bundle CD+Book. Otherwise you will only have the paper version. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is planning to start a new business...

We've been using this book for 19 years (since its second edition) as part of the curriculum of a year-long small business development course and it continues to be the best combination of text and workbook we've found. Rhonda keeps it fresh and relevant with each updated edition. Our only complaint is not with the book, but the packaging when Amazon ships a case of them to us. It has been a long time since we have received a box of these books that has not been broken open in shipment because the packers don't "cross-tape" all the seams shut, which is mandatory with a box of this weight. A few seconds of time and a couple of feet of additional tape would keep the boxes closed and the books safe.

It was required for a class. I received a B+ in the class, since I had to evacuate during the week of final exams. This book was a wonderful guide. I naw have started a few small entrepreneurships with the help of this book. I learned how to incorporate every company and protect my personal assets with an LLC, or PLLC, and to use a PLLC to protect myself as I persue a business degree, as well as start my own Psychology Firm after earning my PHd. I learned so much from this book. It nearly earned me an A in college, too.

Quite possibly the best book out there to give your plan the momentum to get done and get it right! This book is worth more than it's weight in gold. I was intimidated at first glance, but the content flows seamlessly and the worksheets are a fantastic planning tool, some of them can even be physical pieces of the business plan. I highly recommend to anyone serious about starting a business, get this book immediately, regardless of where you are at in your planning process and you'll be the next person writing a 5 star review. Get it done and get it right!

The Successful Business Plan is just what I needed to complete my final class towards my MBA . The book is very detailed and covers each area from start to finish . The book has several examples and also guides and prompts users on exactly what to plug into your project/plan. I recommend this text especially for anyone who has no idea where to begin with a successful business plan . The writing is clear and easy to read .

Great book! I used it for a school project and it is very thorough. There is no stone it does not want me to leave unturned. Chapters are easy to read and short. Lots of places to jot down notes and ideas regarding your own plan. Includes lots of website help too--where to look for what information.
