Awesome but take a while to install
I love this product. They are strong. I went through muddy trails and slid into a bank of dirt, they arenโt even scratched! They are well worth the money and look awesome. If you do get them be prepared to spend hours getting them on. You need to cut the car to fit and sand down the the car. I wasnโt prepared for the work it needed and wouldnโt have been able to remotely do it on my own. A family friend whoโs a mechanic helped me put them on in his shop with a lift. Well worth the money but get professional help to put them on (unless you really know what you are doing).

Great flare with a little extra work
Overall nice product, plan for at least a full day to install all 4 flares. The instructions were clear, pictures in the instructions couldโve been clearer but I was able to understand by reading. One thing that I think maybe needs a little better QC was the drilling of the holes on the inner plastic brackets that hold the outer flare to the Jeep. Almost all of them the holes were not cleaned up so I had to take a razor blade and trim all the excess plastic from when they were drilled at the factory. I found if you donโt clean these holes up it is hard to get the slide on screw clips on the mounts. Other than that Iโm very happy with the outcome and look of the flares.

Good but Pricey
A lot of prep needed to get these fitted. Fenders come a little warped but take its shape after mounted. Looks great on my XJ with 3 โ lift and 33โ Wildpeak AT4โs

Lots of work but turns out really nice.
I installed these over the past few days. IMHO these are a much better product for an XJ when compared to the standard cut-out flare. My installation was time consuming because I did it at the same time as rear quarter armor to cover a ginormous dent on the rear passenger quarter. The instructions are outstanding. I used a combination of air and electric tools. I think a guy could do most everything with a 4" electric grinder and a ceramic cut off wheel if he needed to.but it helps to have additional tools like a smaller cut off wheel on a die grinder for the tight radii cuts and a sawzall for the part in the instructions that calls for one. Do yourself a favor and buy 3 or 4 cans of good quality rubberized undercoating before you start to really cake on the cut lines before (inside) and after (outside) you fold them. Follow the instructions they work. I would probably do the fronts one day and then get some rest and clean up before doing the rears the next day. It can be done in one but it will be a long day. My biggest time waster was letting touch up paint and undercoating dry between stages. My neighbors all commented on how nice they look when done. I took before and after pics. My rig is an '89 I've had for 20 years. It's on 34 x 10.50 Swampers with about 7" of long arm lift after you account for settling from bumpers, armor, and winch. Some of the after pics are in a twisty spot near my shop One of the after pics shows the driver front almost buried. It will go a little further into the wheel well but the fronts look to have miles. Rears are more of a challenge on an XJ but I am fairly confident I will not rub. I have a trip planned in a couple weeks and will try to update.

already scratched and scuffed out the box
I have not installed these fenders yet but it has a good manual to show you how but when I opened up the fender 2 out of the 4 had scratches and scuff already on them with a rough cut edge from the cut out for each piece. for 500 dollars I was expecting more quality parts which was a big let down. update installing them was a pain so many little things that make it not worth the money. for example there are slide on tabs that work as nut for the fender itself. i had to cut plastic just to put the clips on and when I went to get the fender on the holes never lined up. also the weather strip to keep water out doesn't stick well and leaves an ugly edge. it also folded up on the top for 500$ just trim them your self

Well worth the price
I needed to get some flares since my tires stick out pretty wide on my Jeep and I wanted flat flares. I had already cut and folded my rear fenders and same with my front but I did get the to work since I could unfold my fenders to use the factory holes. These will add more clearance to the wheel well and give it a nice look. You could also mount these if you didnโt have the factory holes in your fenders, all you have to do is use stainless self tappers in the rear and use the supplied hardware for in the front. Did I mention they make a great beer holder for when youโre working on your rig?

Look good, but the plastic is warped
Yes the plastic fenders are quality ..but they're still plastic. They're warped, the cut around the style lines of the jeep isn't perfect and the holes aren't in the perfect spots. I've got them all on now and the big fender part won't snug up to the body of the jeep. No matter how much I wiggle the bottom pieces around, the edges and turns around the style lines just make them stick out from the body about 2 mm or so. Look good from a distance but noticeable imperfections up close. Mine also didn't come with any hardware so I had to reach out to Bushwhacker and then we're kind enough to send me the hardware. Sucks that they had to pay for Amazon's mistake. The 4 included push screws for the bottom of the rear fenders suck. They break easy. Should just have more of the metal screws used in the next holes up of the rear fenders.

they look great and help keep XJ clean
Just installed them after sitting in the basement for 4 months , they look great and help keep XJ clean . The install was easy and only took 6 hours but had to make a trip to get some missing bolts . I tried 4 different tools to cutout the fenders and the cutoff wheel works the best . Also on 97 and up XJ's plan on the rear lower quarters to be rusted out when you remove the rear bumper endcaps , no big deal I ordered a piece of metal armor to cover it up after removing rust and coating it with some rustproofing paint .

Great flares
Love these flares, strong enough to go thru bushes. Don't expect it to hold when rubbing off a tree. Instructions were very clear and detailed. Well built and only strong if you installed it correctly. Took me a whole day by taking my time. I dont understand ppl complaining about how the screw holes weren't super clean. You just have to use a knife to trim out the little burr for the screw hole no big deal.

Good product but pricey ๐ฐ
These are well made but are still plastic and thatโs a lot of money for plastic. Will report back how they hold up on the trails.
