Good, lightweight, easy to use.
Not the cheapest but it does have both Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity. Comes with a spare strap which is appreciated. Although the photos show it being used at the top of the forearm or upper arm I wear it facing in to my wrist and it seems to work fine. I’ve given it 4 stars for accuracy and I have nothing to compare it with but I can say it’s never dropped out and has been ridden through all types of weather without hitch. The proprietary USB cable has been accused of being a downside but the connector supplied allows it to be rainproof witHour clumsy rubber toggles, is magnetic, and engages positively. I left it overnight to charge so can’t comment on charging time. It’s been used on every ride since I bought it (I go out every other day averaging around 45mins, I’m not a serious distance rider) and so far clocked up over 10 hours without running low - I think the advertised life of around 20 hours And I’ve no reason to think I wouldn’t get 15 hours + out of this. It connects in moments to my Garmin 130 and is comfortable to wear. The strap Velcro felt a bit flimsy when I first put it on but it’s never come loose and my confidence in it is 100% now. In my opinion it’s very good value for money. It weighs nothing, you forget it is there and works in all weathers. Can’t ask much more than that. Recommended.

Great product and price, exceptional customer service
I've always worn a chest strap, but after some extreme chaffing one day I decided to give optical a go. I chose the CooSpo on the basis of good reviews and because it seemed better value for money than some of the better known devices. The product itself is excellent. Because you wear it higher up your arm (just under the elbow) than wrist-based optical devices it appears to give a more accurate and stable reading - certainly similar to my Wahoo and Garmin chest straps. It paired easily with my Garmin Fenix and iPhone. It's more comfortable than the chest strap, although it does have to be worn fairly tight. The battery is quick to charge and lasts a long time - it held out during a 40 mile run anyway. But there is always a concern that, in the event of a problem, the customer service may not be as strong as the more well-known brands. Not in this case. I stupidly left the charger in Spain, so tried to find a replacement when I got back to the UK. Unable to, I contacted the company. Emma replied within a few hours, and after a slight mix-up (Emma looks after .com, I am .co.uk) she arranged with her colleague to send me a replacement free of charge. It arrived a few days later. Will buy their products again.

Coros compatible
Synced with my Coros vertix easily. Works well with my watch. The strap can be a bit difficult to get right too tight and it pinches your arm but if too loose it slips down, hence the 4 stars. Produces more accurate data than my built in watch monitor. Just need to find where I last put it now

Does the job!
I used this HR arm band when training for an ultra-marathon recently and found it easy to pair with my Garmin watch. Good for the price, but I can't compare it to any other arm bands as I've never had any others! It does the job anyway. It stays in place on my arm and can slip a bit maybe once or twice an hour, but I just push it back up my arm, it doesn't bother me. The band can be adjusted to any length (velcro). The charging cable connection to the magnetic connection port on the arm band is a bit weak so can detach easily, but that would only matter if you were charging it on the go and moving about (e.g. using a battery pack). The HR measurement was accurate when I compared it manually.

Useless
I had really high hopes for this little device and it did let me down big time. During the first 2 sessions the sensor was excellent and I was super impressed but thats about it . From the 3rd session (fully charged btw) , it wont maintain connection for more than 30 secs .. After repeated attempts and reset still no luck. I tried 3 more sessions and I had to remove the sensor as it was affecting my stats and returned it. I could be a faulty device but I wont be trying again ! Really dissapointed as the perfomance of the first 2 sessions was perfect. Again battery was fully charged and I even tried to get data while walking and it will cut off after 30 or so secs and wouldnt reconnect. And it was not the watch as I have tested it with my old chest strap and it worked as expected .

Good for the price, not as accurate as most
I purchased this for my housemate to use as a fun heartrate monitor during horror streams on Twitch. So this review is also partially through experience of an app that it sends the information to. The monitor works fairly well but if I was to give an estimate on the accuracy I'd say it's more around the 60% range after using other tools and witnessing the differences. If you're not looking for specific monitoring but more of a general vibe, which can vary between 15bpm incorrectly in either direction, then this is worth the price. However if you want something accurate this isn't for you. The strap is comfortable and it's also easy to use. The on/off button itself isn't the most obvious but once you get a feel for where it is, you wont have any issues. The battery is a good length for anything you'd use this for too.

Heart rate monitor for cycling and running
After purchasing several disappointing heart rate monitors that strapped around my waist, I decided to give this forearm strap a go. After four months use I have nothing but good things to say.... Zero connectivity issues with Garmin or indoors with Zwift, easy to charge (no constant battery changes) accurate and reliable. Highly recommend.

I use this for both my Concept2 machines (rower and skier). It works very well. I've confirmed the heart rate measurement against my smartwatch and my Peloton armband monitor. It is always easy to connect and has a very good battery life.

I thought it might be Inaccurate so i purchased a garmin chest strap HRM. I didn’t compare directly but my heart rates on a similar ride were here similar with the two devices. This is my second coospo hrm. The first quit charging after i misplaced it in a cupboard for a month.
