It feels pretty cheap and is all twirled into the bag. Take it out, put it on a hanger and help it fall out. The underneath is made out of a shower curtain like material which again, seems lame but really holds it all together over the hoops (which work and aren't too bad to get around in). The material over the top is nice. In reality you can definitely make this work by letting it settle and embelishing it with other layers. A lacy top underneath, gloves, more authentic looking things and this dress turns pretty awesome. I had about 8 layers and the outfit rocked. Totally worth the $ considering. PS- the 'hat' is sort of ridiculous. I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. It's not nearly as bad as people said. My daughter is 12 and 5'4 and the women's small fit perfectly. It's perfect in length as well. It's just fine for trick or treating and the bell bottom is very big and sturdy. The hat is tan as I think it's supposed to represent a straw hat. It's not super great quality, but it's a low priced costume.
