Worked (2) tries for very long hair
During the holidays with my family my daughter was surrounded by other children and soon after noticed her scratching a day later, I was as well. Took (2) try's for me and my daughter we both have very long hair and used the entire bottle but it worked I also use other products for preventive care. Fairy Tales brand Comb worked well and helped pull out some lice however managed take the ones missed by hand. I also continued a check daily for 7 days removing every lice I found during inspections wether dead or alive, my daughter is only 3 and didn’t want any freakin bugs in my babies hair. Other things I did: I vacuum my house thoroughly every day just in case, I washed all pillows if possible or sealed them in bags for over 7 days, i washed all blankets and dried in high heat, I washed all towels. I also inspected all her stuffed animals and sealed in bags to allow any stragglers to die just in case. I wear hats so I washed my hats and put them in the dryer on low heat so no shrinkage then sealed in a bag for a few days. Lice are pesky and I hate them this product definitely helped get them out of our hair, should this happen in the future I would use again. There is a strong licorice smell but it was bearable, just in case any of you are sensitive to smell.

Dead lice, dead lice, hooray for dead lice!!
My daughter came home from school with lice, yet again. I had previously gone to a lice treatment place so I knew it had been completely gone and I was dreading paying another fee to have another treatment done. (This would be the 3rd time, of course outside of the warranted 30 days....). When I read the reviews on this spray, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it and it was certainly cheaper than the lice clinic, which in case this spray failed, would still be available as a last resort again. Heads up - The spray smells like black licorice, and so for me that is very pleasant because I happen to love black licorice( it just makes me crave candy), but for my daughter who doesn't like black licorice, it wasn't so great. However, I told her it was better than having lice and she agreed with me ;) Anyway - upon receiving the spray, I sat my daughter down and divided her hair into 4 sections. I meticulously went through every section and saturated every strand of hair with this spray. Once I was sure that her entire head was drenched in the liquid, from root to tip, I placed a shower cap on her head and had her wear it overnight. I want to say that for her, there was no adverse reaction to having this on her head for several hours, she had no redness or no rashes so unless someone has a sensitive head or have certain allergies, I feel it is a safe product to leave in for a long period of time. Come the next morning, we went in the bathtub to wash the spray out. THIS is where it gets gross!! As I shampooed her hair, I pulled my fingers back out and I had dead lice stuck to my fingers!! lol. It was funny, gross and relieving at the same time! It was the first sign of this spray doing its job. Relentlessly, I shampooed her hair twice to make sure everything was out and flushed all those dead boogers down the drain afterwards. After the bath, even though it says you don't have to comb the nits and lice out afterwards, I did sit her down, once again sectioning off her hair and started combing. All I saw were dead lice and dead nits. Nothing was alive. Gross part take 2 came when I got to her neck and ear area - there was an avalanche of dead lice down her back and on her shoulders!! So gross, so funny, and again - very reassuring!! I'm writing this review 2 months later now because I wanted to make sure everything was dead, and yes, everything was dead and has stayed dead and nothing has come back!! I'm very very happy with this spray, I'd love to shout its praises from the rooftop and I'm investing in a big bottle of it to have on hand just in case we have another outbreak. I live in Texas, we do have super lice, I do not know if these were super or not but dead and gone they are. I want to note too that I had tried other OTC stuff previously, and those have NOT worked. It is definitely worth giving this spray a shot before spending the big $$ to visit a lice clinic. Just MAKE SURE to follow the directions and really SOAK the hair in this stuff - use the whole bottle if you must, again it's a very low-cost solution as opposed to many of the alternatives that are out there. I'm a very happy camper in a lice-free home, thank you Licefreee!!!

Really works
Awesome product. Daughter got lice at school and could not get rid of them! Tried other products that were more expensive and did not work. This comb works wonders. I recommend to first comb out all lice out of hair with the special comb and clean comb in a small bowl of water every time. Then use solution and do to not leave the solution in the hair for more than 40 minutes because it is a little strong and the scalp will start to show redness and irritation if left too long. Use a plastic bag to cover all hair including scalp. Make sure you get all sections of the hair divide into 4 parts. I just used my own little tricks. After checking my daughter's hair each day for 3 weeks after that, there was no more itching and only found dead knits and was lice free after that. Hope this helps someone out there.

Works as part of a larger routine
Ugh. Lice. Disgusting to even think about, never mind have. But yes, I got them (from sitting at the pharmacy bench at a Walmart that had the lice remedies of all places....) Anyway, I tried vacuuming, other over the counter remedies, tons of laundry and that didn't really work. This does work though I have been using it every few days for a week now and you can actually SEE the dang things dead but at night, even with daily pillow washing, I can also feel movement. So it's going to take a few weeks of the routine and using this every other day (on my second bottle now so buy more than one) but it does help knock them back and reduce the population. Note: I did try making this myself at home and it was not as effective. Just a FYI for those looking to save money, you might but it might not work as well.

My daughter had lice for the 2nd time. The first time I was Nix and it didn't work at all. I ended up taking her to professionals and they were gone. So this second time I got on the phone and they were no longer in business. Ugh. Now what?! So I started doing some research and came across Lice Freee and am I ever happy I did!! She has thick hair to her bum. I ordered 2 bottled in case, some of the reviews said 1 would be enough, some said 2. It's a very decent price, 2 bottles costing the same as 1 bottle of Nix. I sprayed it in, careful to have the entire head and length doused. It only took 1 bottle for all that hair! Then I put a shower cap on her and she slept with it on. Being her hair is so long, it wasn't totally dry so we took the cap off and let it dry during the morning. I washed it out and combed it with a nit comb. One comes with the kit and it is the good ones with metal combs. An easy was to see what is coming out as your combing is to get a bow of water (I find a white bowl is easier to see) then start combing. With every comb swish in the bowl and you can see what is coming off. Before the treatment, combing the same way, I was getting tons of nits and adult lice. After the treatment, I kid you not, 2 eggs. No big lice. It's like they all washed off when we washed the Lice Freee out! I couldn't believe it! I continued combing her hair for a week after and did not get any. She was literally Lice Freee after 1 treatment. If anyone in the family comes hike with lice do not panic. Just get this product! Make sure you've washed their bedding, boiled their hair things and kept stuffies in a bag for 2 weeks. You really don't have to go crazy cleaning. A lice doesn't live off a host for more than 24 hours. They're also adapted to being able to move swiftly through hair, but slowly on carpet. Focus on their bed and bedroom, hair things, hair towels, helmets, jackets etc. Things they wear for a length of time. I read a few reviews saying it didn't work. Mind you, there weren't very many, but this absolutely does work. Lice is a scary thought, and a pain because don't get me wrong to properly comb out her hair took 2 hours each time, but when you take the time to carefully get it done, use Lice Free, you'll have it a distant memory soon enough!

I’ve tried everything to kill headlice. My kids school doesn’t send home kids over headlice and it’s become an infestation. Every time we treat and get rid of the bugs they end up coming home with them again. This is the first stuff to ever work! This is an amazing treatment! You spray it on their hair, let dry then wash out. After 15 minutes of it being in my boys hair I combed through and it took every live and nit out. All of the bugs were dead. It’s amazing! Then they showered and when their hair dried I took the headlice vacuum through their heads to make sure we got everything. I can’t even explain how great this stuff works. I’ll definitely be buying a couple bottles to keep in my bathroom cupboards. Just in case.

I’m not sure if it’s lice or just insects from being out in the park and outdoors, but this get rid of whatever it is. The other stuff like shampoo or tree oil doesn’t work. This one you can feel a little sting, so it actually has some stuff going on.

Most of the bugs survived the spray BUT after it dried and I combed through their hair I combed out so many dead eggs!! I'm very happy with that outcome as the bugs can be combed out but the eggs are usually so hard to get rid of. This should speed up getting rid of these nasty buggers. It leaves the hair super greasy though

Had some high hopes after reading others reviews on this product but sadly it did not work for my kids hair. It didn't kill any eggs or any live ones I'm not to sure if I got a reject or what but I will not be buying again. The smell of the product smells exactly like black licorice it's been 2 days now since I used this product on my sons hair and his hair still smells strongly like black licorice
