Review: Great look and easy to apply! - I'm a lazy type so have used a range of poly type finishes and those are ok. Wanted to up the game by getting a nicer finish and this has had good video reviews. This is much nicer than the water based polys I had been using! This applies even and coverage good combined with well sanded pieces. Sanded to 220-320G is about right. This has a slight yellow tint so it makes the wood warmer looking. I use a 5cc syringe to place drops on the surface of my small pieces then rub cross grain using a cotton cloth. That 5cc of this has been enough to cover about a 12x12" area easily depending how dry the wood is. After the first coat, a light sanding with 600 or 1000G to catch any risers-dust that may have become stuck during the process. This small can will go a long way with my projects. The purple heart I put this on is really beautiful following. Have also had it an birdseye maple, curly maple, walnut, cherry with excellent results. On a few cherry pieces it was blotchy but that's part of working with cherry. Does not take a lot to achieve nice results either. Review: My favorite finish by far. - You'll find the same opinion all over the internet: the simplest thing in the world to apply, with a beautiful finish that lets the wood shine through. This is a small amount, true. But it's more than enough for a good-sized table. It's definitely durable, but if it is marred, repairing the finish is a simple as applying it in the first place.

Three Strikes and you're out
Strike one: The seller "Bay 15" took eight days just to get the product shipped which tells me they are either very inefficient, or never had the product to sell in the first place and had to buy it in. Strike two: The product finally arrived after two weeks in an undamaged box, but the product can inside was heavily dented, so it must have been shipped this way. It was very lucky that there was no spillage. Strike three: The product itself failed miserably. It was used on Oregon Myrtle and also on Black Oak. Both woods had a moisture content of around 8%. I was easy to apply and spread well. Both projects had been sanded down to a smooth 320 grit. When both projects dried, both were blotchy. One project had a finish that felt like like 80 grit sandpaper ?!? Needless to say that this is totally unacceptable. I had to sand down both products back to bare wood and start the finishing over. They now look great after applying Tung oil. Save your money. Look elsewhere.

straight-up good product
Good stuff! My woodworker buddy pointed me to this, and it did not disappoint. Two coats and the coffee table looks better than new now!

Very east to work with, great coverage you need very, very little it goes a long way.
I used this on the black walnut coffee table I made seen above, used a sponge brush to apply and then a white(less abrasive) scrubbing pad to work the oil in
