Product description Compare and chose the perfect option Summer Sleeping Bag 3-Season Sleeping Bag XXL 3-Season Sleeping Bag Double Sleeping Bag Review: Remarkable Summer Sleeping Bag - I had a back surgery a while back that left me worse off than before. Now I need to sleep on the floor as the mattress my wife will not give up is too soft for me. So my bed until my back recovers is a 1" self inflatable mat with a sleeping bag on top. My previous sleeping bag was not long enough or wide enough. The inside of it was a flannel like material which was extremely hot for sleeping in the house. That is why I purchased the Venture 4th XXL sleeping bag. Here are my thoughts. The Good: This bag is more than long enough for me. I am 6' but it could easily accommodate a taller person. The bag is wide. I can literally spread my legs fully (think jumping jacks or snow angel). This was a welcome surprise. The inner material is like a hotel comforter or a satin like finish, cool to the touch, but able to warm. We keep our thermostat at 69 degrees at night and being zipped up in the bag I was comfortably warm and was never hot. I also sleep with a half moon bolster type pillow between my knees or under my knees and the bag accommodated this with no sacrifices. Incredible! Also when folded and placed in its case it is very compact and extremely light. The bad: The hood feature is quirky. It has a draw string through the hood and into the bag body crumpling the body of the bag and the hood together limiting the nice width around my shoulders. I find this very uncomfortable and nearly unworkable. I would prefer the draw string just be in the hood like a hoodie on a sweat shirt. Also I saw a video when purchasing this bag about the clean zipper. The zipper teeth are relatively small and do get caught on the inner lining like every sleeping bag in the world. I had a devil of a time zipping this thing up from inside the bag. It would get caught every 5 or 6 inches or so. The Ugly: Nothing this bag meets all my needs. I don't need the hood and the zipper is par for the course. Summary: I cannot speak to durability. But for what you get for the money it is well worth it and fits my application to a tee. My review would have been 5 stars except for the hood and zipper. A quick update on 8/6/2024. I have been sleeping in this bag now for 21 straight days. I changed my 4 star rating to 5 stars. Regarding the zipper if you zip from outside the bag I have nearly no issues and certainly less than my previous sleeping bag. It is more an issue of angle when zipping. I now agree with previous statements about a clean zipper. Regarding the hood, my wife had the air extra low, and I am bald, so I used the hood I thought I had no use for. It kept my head warm and was not difficult to use. Finally, I did not realize that this bag had a lifetime warranty. I was contacted by the owner of the company email telling me of the warranty and thanks for buying the bag. Where on God's green earth do you get owners telling people they got a lifetime warranty? It may have been a one off but Venture4th has my business for life. Review: Perfect sleeping bag. - This sleeping bag is great! Used it on my last camping trup where the overnight low was 30°. I was warm and comfortable just wearing shorts. Also, love the extra width that comes along with this sleeping bag.

Warm in winter. Zipper okay. Has good roll-up strap. Slick material both sides
I tried 3 different double sleeping bag brands. This product is slick on inside and outside, which isnt my favorite material to sleep on. I got warm fast. Fits 5'4 and 6'3 tall people fine. It is about the size of a double bed. It is warm in winter, good for that. The right side zipper seemed to want to zip over the inside material, until I washed it, then it was fine. Before that, I had to zip with my finger running inside to move material out of the zippers way. It washed well and took a long time to dry. Definitely was and dry separated. The roll-up strap was thicker than Colemans and it has one on one sleeping bag. So made it easier (than the 2 others brands I tried) to put back in the too tight carry bag. This was easier to put away and carry. This sleep bag rolls up to the smallest (compared to Coleman and Agemore brands). Two sleeping bag roll up to the size of one sleeping bag. See photo. So if storage is an issue this one is best.

Awesome sleeping bag for the money
I purchased this for sudden Coast Deployment. As everyone that sleep CG or Naval ship they keep the temperature cold to assist those with motion sickness. I usually buy sleeping bags and finished my deployments I disposed of them. This one was large enough to be comfortable and move inside freely. It was so goo that I kept it and used again on three deployments. After the deployments I kept and put inside one of my tear drop camper with not heat. One night it was cold and windy at Chinos Mountains (Big Bend). Temperature drop to about 16F. Once again this sleeping bag did not fail me. I got inside and it was like a little furnace. Spacious enough that I could tend to a self inflicted stab wound without having to open the bag. Comparing to their sleeping bags that I still have. This is my favorite, durable. Not supper thick, but well insulated. Easy to use and compresed it’s not water proof. And lightweight

Very warm
Extremely warm in 35 degree weather. I slept with socks on, flannel pajama pants, long sleeves and a beanie. I was warm and toasty. No problems. Easy to pack. Lightweight. Highly recommend for colder weather.

Good quality
Zipper quality is really good it's really soft and comfortable and keeps you warm it actually condenses down pretty small once it's in the bag and you tighten all the straps it's easy to roll up and get back into the carry bag and it fits really well in my hunting back I think this was a great value for what I paid

Great for storage. Not so much for sleeping.
I just used this sleeping bag on a trip to the boundary waters in northern MN. The bag rolls up easily into a small pouch and is great for backpacking. Other than that, I wasn’t all that impressed. I found that the bag was not very wide. If I laid on my back I could barely zip it up all the way to my shoulders and if I moved at all it would come unzipped very easy. I had to lay on my side in order for the bag to stay zipped, and if I rolled over, it would unzip. My brother was with me and had purchased the same bag, and he is a little more broader than me. He couldn’t zip it up past his waist area. We almost thought that this bag was for older kids or maybe a woman’s sleeping bag. The length of the bag was fine. I am around 5’9” and had plenty of room for my feet. I am not so sure that these bags are rated for the temperatures advertised. It got cold throughout the nights that we were there (low 40’s/upper 30’s) and the bags not zipping all the way coupled with how thin they felt with the material it’s packed with didn’t provide much insulation. We had to bundle up with clothing in order to stay warm. Some of the stitching came out after its first use which was kind of disappointing. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this bag to anyone unless they are looking for a sleeping bag that is easy to stow away or take up little space in their backpack. I feel bad for suggesting this bag to my brother who was very unsatisfied with it and had to use his rain poncho to cover up the remainder of his upper body to stay warm. ****update**** I gave another star because of Venture 4th’s customer service. Very shortly after I left my review they reached out to me and wanted to make things right. They wanted to make sure their customers are treated right and enjoy their product. I thought that was very cool as most companies would shrug off a negative review, especially when there are many more positive reviews on that same product. So thank you Venture 4th for your excellent customer service.

Horrible
The zippers jam ALL the time. The inside stitching has all come undone. Return window was barely even a month for us to figure this out!
