Great Starter
This is a powerful starter that turns over my BBF 521 with 10:1 compression very well in all conditions where the (multiple) stock factory starters I have tried do not. This one turns the beast over like it is nothing! I'm very pleased so far.

Made my 93 Ford 250 sound like a Hellcat at startup
Direct bolt on for Ford F250 460 (7.5), no shim required. Amazing starting power and compression. Is much louder than stock, but sounds great. Best price I found for a high performance starter. Bolts where M10x1.50 or 3/8-16, 35mm and 50mm if you plan on replacing them

Worked good on 92 F350
We have a 92 F350 dump that sometimes didn't like to start, with this starter it spins over faster hot or cold than it ever did with the original direct drive starter. Only thig is it's mislabeled, ours said Battery and Ignition, it's Battery and Start (solenoid). Old ford did have an ignition terminal back when they used points.

Works great, no apparent heat sink like the stpck unit
The install required some measuring, but was not too bad and once in, the starter worked great and does not cease working when its hot like the stock unit did. BTW, that stock unit was the 3rd one that had died in the truck in about six years. Hopefully this one will last longer, and will continue to work even when the engine gets hot.

This starter is a must have for classic car owners. When cranking, it sounds like a new car and transforms your car from that "clunker car" sound to a modern powerful crank. A+++

Starter no-longer overheats
We needed a starter to replace the one we had because the one we had was larger and therefore closer to the engine exhaust causing it to get hot and not able to start after warming up. This has a smaller housing which allows extra distance away from the exhaust. We've had it for about a month and works very well. We tried heat wrap and had no succuess.
