Awesome, they fit comfortably and they protect you from a more serious injury. My sport being field hockey. Absorbs a bit of the impact on the ankle bones and thus stops you breaking it like I did five years ago.

My son plays a lot of football and has got caught on his ankles a few time so thought I would try and find something to protect his ankles, these are ideal not to big fit great, they are comfy, give great protection.

Does what it say

Fortunately I can't really say how well they work and hope I never will. I use them to get some ankle protection when I ride the motorcycle. I have a pair of boots I like very much but they are not really bike boots so those pads supposed to give some protection when I ride. I would probably not recommend them for any fast rides. I have a cruiser so they should do. They are comfortable to wear, fit well in my boots and look well made. Have no idea whether they work while playing football though.

When I bought these, it was to replace an old pair of ankle protectors that had become stretched over time and with use. These appear to be very robust to potential stretching due to the thick band that goes under your foot to hold them in place. That said, I am an adult male with athletic build, and thought that I’d purchase the S/M size to ensure a tight fit…..I wasn’t disappointed there. They are not easy to get on or off as the elasticity isn’t great, but which of course keeps them in place. At this price, I would not be too sure about purchasing again (the material does feel a bit cheap), with so many other options out there.

I bought these after taking a few knocks to the ankles during football games. Whilst they are comfy and cant feel them on I wore them for the first time today and can honestly say they did not protect my ankles. Came out of the game with a swollen ankle after a heavy challenge so I wouldn't recommend for adults football.

I suppose it is for children, not adults. Had I seen it in a shop, I would never have bought it.
