I love love love the look. I'm gonna wear it with a tank crop top. Yes this skirt is kinda heavy as decribed. I think that it will be perfect for all seasons. I am curvy, 5ft 2in, 169lbs, thick chic but not very big. I ordered 2 of them, a medium and a small and I have processed a refund for a small instead of the medium. I have to wiggle into it because of my rear end, but it is not difficult to get on. Oh yeah....I will be adding a zipper to the side of the skirt. The elastic in the waist is not tight enough to hold up this heavy skirt. So order a size down. The small fit perfect. It's kinda puffy, not as straight as it appears on the model. And it is kinda long on me, it is on the ground but I like it. So if you're short like me, you may have to have it altered if you don't want it to drag the ground. It's material is of great quality. Saw a local celebrity from a VH1 reality show with it on and was like I got to get that. After putting it in google search plaid and blue jean long skirt I was able to find it here on Amazon. It is very comfortable, it’s a bit heavy but whatever it doesn’t bother me. The fabric and lining is comfortable and I love the plaid in blue jean color which is what drew me to it. It’s very versatile once I wore it with blue jean dkny platform sneakers and one thanksgiving I wore it with timberlands. I love this skirt.
