These are excellent 5lb weights, ready to use right out of the box. Excellent construction made of very durable materials, easy on and off, but they stay on when using due to the strong Velcro fasteners. Comfortable to use as well. I'm recovering from reconstructive knee surgery, my PT recommended these....so glad he did!

I read all the reviews before ordering. The one star reviews claimed the weight bags leaked sand. There were many good reviews, so I ordered them. Love them. I had suffered a minor stroke and my left leg tended to drag a little when I walked. So I started wearing these around the house. I went one day on all day and one day off all day. After the first day the dragging was gone. Looks like I am walking normally now. These exercise your core which is great. They make you breath a little heavier which is also great. Hopefully the bags will not leak sand. But so far they are great. They are so beneficial that if the bags leak I will request a replacement. I highly recommend buying these. They fit great. You can adjust the weight easily. The strap is strong as stays right where you put it. No slipping or coming apart. No slipping at all. Easy to adjust. The quality is exceptional. Very durable. They fit great. I will never be without them.

I am really satisfied with these adjustable ankle weights. Each ankle strap has 5 pockets that hold 1-pound weights, which can be removed individually to adjust the weight. I just finished P/T and wanted to continue the exercises at home, so I bought these adjustable ankle weights. I wanted to be able to add weight as my strength improves, so I picked these. I'm currently using 3 lbs and doubt I'll need more than 5 for an effective workout, so these fit the bill, and the price was reasonable. I found it relatively easy to remove and replace the bags in each compartment. Each removable weight is a 1 lb bag of sand-type material in a plastic bag, encased in a black fabric bag that should be fully stitched closed on both ends. On two of the four bags I removed, the stitching had come undone, leaving that end partly open. Not a big deal since the sand is in a plastic bag but I'll probably restitch it closed; I deducted one star for that missed detail. I'm 5'2", with a small frame, so I was concerned that they would be too bulky or that I wouldn't be able to get them to close tightly enough, but the Velcro closure gives me a snug fit. They are a little bulky, but not uncomfortably so. I like the color and fabric. I think they'll work great for what I need. I recommend them if you're looking for this type of weight.

Just what I was looking for for my workouts use them every day! Highly recommended.

I have used these for physical therapy and they are better than expected. They are easy to put on and off. They are sturdy and the velcro does not come off when exercising. They fit well even though I have large ankles.

These ankle weights are great. Love the color. Ease of use with Velcro straps. And bright pretty in pink. Helps motivate to work out.

Let me start with the positives -- item was exactly as described. Nice light blue, easily removed and replaced one pound weights, five in all. I was looking forward to using these in exercise. But never got that far. The problem is that there are only two velcro panels for the strap to fasten on. And that's exactly like the product pics at the top of the page. But when I tried to fasten the strap on my wrist or ankle, I could not get the strap to fasten to more than one of the two panels -- the unit is so long that the strap overshoots and only lands on one of the panels. What is very interesting to me is that I also ordered the 10 lb version, and those pictures at the top of the page show just two panels for that version, too. But thank God, as you can see in the photo I have supplied, I got three panels on mine. And that means the strap on that one lands on two panels. The difference is huge if you plan on using the weight straps in any vigorous exercise or even full range of motion exercises as a single panel cannot keep the straps from coming loose or moving as well as two or three panels. And with the 5 lb version, I had to wrap it around my bicep to get two panels on the strap. Am I out of shape? Sure, lol, that's why I bought 5lb straps with removable weight bags, so I could start with less than 5 lbs. If you have wrists that match my biceps, then God bless you. Why are you buying 5 lb weights again? Anyway, I am returning the 5 lb'ers and keeping the 10'ers for now because with the strap secured to two panels, it should be safe for light to moderate exercise. Still not sure it would be safe enough for running, but I am willing to try.

Exactly what I expected and does the job perfectly I bought them to assist with recuperation from Total Knee replacement surgery. Use them as instructed by my physiotherapist to passively load my knee to get more extension. Works great.

I enjoy the fact that you can adjust the overall weight by adding/removing weights. Comfortable to wear with or without clothes in between. Good quality.

Pretty impressed by this product. Does the job... stays on well, Velcro sticks good. Would totally order again..
