They are quite stretchy, and XS - S fits me nicely, although it could have been a bit tighter. I am quite short at 5" and take an 8 in casual trousers and normally take a 10 - 12 in tops, because I have quite broad shoulders, but the top also fits me well and is not tight at all. I think XS - S would easily fit a size 10, and the bottoms would be ok for someone a bit taller, but if you're taller than 5"3, I'd guess the bottoms will start to be too short. They easily come down to my ankles without being stretched out properly, so think they'd be ok for another 3 inches of height at least. They're made from 90% modal cotton and 5% spandex - am not sure what exactly "modal cotton" is: modal is a semi-synthetic fiber normally made from wood pulp, so imagine it's made from cotton instead. The fabric doesn't feel like cotton, though, to me it feels more like a synthetic fiber, rayon or viscose, for example, but modal is semi-synthetic, so don't expect this to feel like cotton. I really like the fabric, though, it's smoother than cotton would, and more stretchy. It can be washed at 40 degrees, ironed on medium setting and dry cleaned. It says nothing about tumble drying, but imagine they'd be ok in a dryer on low or medium setting. The material is quite dense, although it gets slightly opaque where it's stretched, at the knees, for example. The elastic at the waist is quite strong so might be a bit uncomfortable if too tightly stretched. For me, this is not an issue, as the smallest size doesn't sit very tightly on me. They are nicely made, all the seams are nice and neat and feel very nice quality - very similar to some similar tops I have from M&S in quality and feel. Overall, am really pleased with this set, and will be buying some in other colours. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ keep warm this winter *by C***. on 19 December 2017* These are made of a very soft cotton and lycra mix, plasant to wear, and as stated ultra thin, so not bulky under clothing. I wore them on a visit to a Christmas market when the temperature was freezing and the set kept me pleasantly warm. I am very happy with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So comfy *by M***E on 23 September 2017* I love this product. I suffer from fybromyalgia and bought these to help me deal with the pain the cold causes me. I was also hoping it would help with the irritation my clothes give me when I am suffering with super sensitivity. It does both its like a second skin it fits perfectly and so comfy.
