Great for recording golf videos using Kinovea or Uneekor View
Update: 2/2/2022 - Just wanted to provide an update. I recently tested these cameras with Uneekor View. They are compatible with View but there is no way to change the shutter speed or other settings. So the club will be blurry but it works. Also, if you anyone is looking for a case, I created a 3D printed case. You should be able to search for the STL file on thing iverse. I'm using 2 of these cameras as part of my golf simulator set up to record golf swings using Kinovea. I'm able to get 120 fps at 720P and freeze the club without motion blur. (You will need to lower the Exposure time which is equivalent to having higher shutter speed. The image will be darker with lower exposure. So you need to increase the gain, brightness and adjust the contrast accordingly. You will also need a lot of light. I have a 300W LED with 42,000 lumens. This camera has an OV4869 sensor which is better than OV2710 in my previous cameras which only support 100 fps at 640 x 480. This is a great value option than other more expensive cameras like Basler or IDS.

Good value
120fps at 720p ....good for golf swing analysis. Not perfect but great for the price

Great for capturing golf swing
I bought two to use with FSX 2020 to capture my golf swing and they integrate and work perfectly. The simulator is setup in the garage so lighting isn't great and I don't want to add more as it will wash out the projector picture. But I still see 160-200 fps with these cameras at the lowest resolution, which is fine to see my swing problems.

How to adjust camera settings?
I have a Mac, and I'm using this for openCV applications. Unfortunately you can't adjust camera properties with macOS and openCV. There were no instructions that came with the camera, so what is the recommended way to adjust settings such as turning off auto white balance, and adjusting brightness, exposure, contrast...etc?

Probably a decent camera -- NOT for Raspberry Pi though
I wanted a camera for a Raspberry Pi (small single-board computer running Linux operating system) that I could install remotely from the board itself. The 1-meter cable length is plenty for me, and the format of a round 4-wire cable is much better for me than the usual ribbon cable used by "native" Raspberry Pi cameras vs. USB-connected. My anticipated use was for Octoprint or something to monitor 3D prints and CNC runs. I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B+, so at 1GB it's more memory-constrained than any of the model 4 variants, but I had hoped for much better operation than I was able to get with this camera. Far from 60fps, I was getting closer to 60spf (seconds per frame). Okay, maybe not really quite that bad, but it certainly wasn't the live video stream I was hoping for. I tried this with a couple of different software packages with similar results, so I think it's just a limitation of the horsepower and memory of the Pi, possibly compounded with its USB interface. I had first tried this camera on my MacBook Pro and was able to get a video stream, so I do know that the camera works. However, the picture quality on the Mac was no comparison to that of the built-in camera. For now, this until will go back onto my shelf awaiting a better Pi or another application.

Suffers from poor image quality
This webcam was straightforward to install on my Windows 10 system. Windows automatically recognized and installed the driver, making it ready for use almost instantly. However, image quality fell short of my expectations and the image appeared significantly grainier and lacked detail. In a test capturing images, the camera struggled to accurately reproduce colors and textures. Fine details, such as cable edges and the texture of a cloth-covered cable, were barely discernible. While easy to set up, the image quality of this webcam does not meet my standards. It might be good for a basic monitoring scenario, but doesn't meet the quality I would like to have.
