Very Sharp!
Happy with product, Takes a little practice but fairly easy to get used to. The blade is very sharp so keep your fingers clear!. A box or container for storage would have been nice.

Great slicer- very sharp. Would do with better Borner quality check
I remember my mum had the orange one. She bought it about 20 years ago and the quality was great. It is still one of the best V slicer on the market I believe. I have tried different (not V shape) slicers and was very disappointed. Some of the little blades on the ''chipper, fries'' insert are little bend, not in right angle to the base ( Borner quality check?), but it didnt affect the cutting. Other than that, great slicer

A GOOD KITCHEN TOOL - SECOND GENERATION
I've had a Borner mandolin for decades, and it has been a very dependable tool. Now it has finally become time to retire and replace it. This new Borner - which is almost (but not quite) identical - is also excellent and I am sure will last just as long. If I was to be picky, I would say the lager "chipper" produces rather thinner "chips" than I'd like; but this seems a pretty minor point and I'm sure I will adapt! I haven't rated this item for "sheerness" as this is a term I associate with nylon stockings and Medway towns - neither has much to do with a kitchen slicer.

Very sharp!
Had one of these years ago so was pleased to see same design. Cuts vegetables with ease, slices and julienne style. Love it.

Does what I need it to do in the main. However, the chip making tray is pretty awful...just doesn't make consistent Chios which a way too thin anyway.

Works so well. it's handy to use and I like that it stores all in one without taking up a lot of space.

Mandoline simple d'emploi, complète, sans danger (en respectant les règles élémentaires de sécurité). Rangement aisé grâce au boîtier de rangement. Petit bémol, le boîtier de rangement était endommagé à réception, mais utilisable en l'état.
