Is this gluten-free?

Gaia Herbs does not use any gluten containing ingredients in our products. Their products are tested annually for gluten by a third-party lab using the ELISA test method for gluten, with a detection limit of 5 ppm.

Has anyone found a way to make this taste better?

I take it in a cocktail of Airborne in a bottle of water & add 1 tsp ACV plus 1 tsp Lemon juice & some Stevia.  It's delicious that way.  If you don't want to do all that, you can put it in an ICE sugar free drink from DG or just put in some cold water & add Small amt water & add Stevia.  Or Water Stevia & Lemon juice.  I have also put it in my morning coffee w/a little half & half. (may not be the best but at least you can get it down & doesn't taste bad any of these ways.)  Still seems to work.

Question 3

I don't think I have parasites but want to purchase this for other health benefits.  Do you actually see live parasites when you poop?

No live parasites. The herbs, black walnut & wormwood, kill them. I experienced HUGE gut health benefits from this tincture too. Far less bloating and no more tummy pain.

does this contain thujone?

The essential oil contains a very large percentage of thujone, however there is a much lower amount of essential oil in the whole wormwood plant (0.2-1.5%). Thujone is volatile and very difficult to isolate, and Gaia has not been successful in isolating it in their products, so they are not able to give a percentage of thujone in Artemisia absinthium. Gaia requires 38mg of dried Artemisia absinthium to make 30 drops of Wormwood Black Walnut Supreme. The suggested use is 15-30 drops 3-4 times daily, so the highest amount a person would be consuming is 152mg per day. This is well below the standard recommendation in the Botanical Safety Handbook “not to exceed 1.5g (1,500mg) of dried herb in tea 2 to 3 times per day (4,500mg of dried herb total daily).
