Small camera, Big picture, Great price
This is a terrific camera. The Price is right, with simple Plug and Play, and it streams great video. So far I've used it to teach my online tutoring sessions and it's works perfectly. I like the versatility of being able to put it on a tripod or clip it to the top of my laptop screen. Easy to use right out of the box. The price is right - under $40. It arrived when promised. If you are looking to enhance your current video and audio options, you should consider this affordable and flexible external web cam.

Tremendous value, superb picture quality!
This camera gives you excellent depth-of-field and detail - even in poor light! The field of view is the perfect compromise between wide-angle and portrait. A vast improvement over other cameras I've had. No need for a separate microphone either. Very good sound pickup. A real bargain! Look for this exact model and brand. It does a great job at a very reasonable price. Very well made and very easy to set up and use right out of the box!

Pretty nice camera
Not anything special, but definitely astonishing for such a cheap price. Super easy to use, clamp on, connect it to a usb, and done. Great quality for the price, although not the best. Not many features, but if you need a webcam in a pinch, get this one!

I love this camera
I bought this camera for online tutoring. Needles to say, I absolutely love it. It was so easy to use. seriously, just plug it in and it was ready to go. The video is super clean and clear, and I don't have the best lighting . The pictures I posted are with the photo option of the camera. Very nice quality webcam. I'm glad I purchased this one over the Logitech. This one has a much better return policy and it swivels. if your not sure which one to purchase, buy this one, you wont be disappointed. :)

Incredible
Everything in the description is truth. 1080p, denoise microphone, and auto focus. I used it for my video meeting and face capture, it works so well. 100% worth the price.

Compact webcam
Nice and compact size with decent picture quality. The live image appears washed out. I expected more for the price. Downloaded MyCam software. Camera was easily recognized. Also used the recommended software from the papalook website and did not see any improvement in the picture quality. Thoughts: this will pass for a reasonable webcam for conferencing.

Average camera. Easy plug n play. a little overpriced
I needed a webcam for work as I have multi screens and the laptop is to my side and I wanted to place a camera on top of my middle screen for a centered view from my audience. This is a very average camera. The auto focus tends to focus quite a bit especially if I move just the slightest. There is no cover (for those who prefer a cover) so i purchased an aftermarket one that adheres to the camera. It fits snug on top of my monitor which was nice and has a swivel so I can easily center myself. Also has a tripod setup in case you want to mount it. I've seen more expensive cameras but are all name brands. I've seen much less expensive cameras. I personally chose this one because of great reviews, because of the tripod hookup and because I didn't spend a lot of time doing the research to find others. After using it, I probably should've spent more time searching and gone with a less expensive camera. $73 for an external, non name-brand camera seems like a lot. I have not tested the audio and do not plan on using it for audio.

Great for webmeetings, worth the price
I bought this primarily to use for webconference, because I wanted to use my desktop PC. I hate using my phone for meetings. Although I had to pay $99 for it (which I understand is a price increase), I don't regret the purchase. It worked on my Windows 10 desktop PC out of the box, plug and play. I'm not a cameraphile, but it does exactly what I want it to do, and as far as I'm concerned the quality is great. I use several mediums for meetings and chats (Skype, Zoom, Facebook) and they all worked flawlessly. If you have multiple microphones or cameras, you may have to point the application to the camera and mic, but that is a quick 5 second step in the application's settings. Both the picture and mic quality are great. No one has asked me to speak up and everyone can see me clearly. In fact, I've had several people comment on the quality of the picture. There is no lense cover, so if you are worried about security either put a post it note on the camera or point it to the wall when not in use. If you Google PAPALOOK HD 1080P, you can see several reviews and even some demonstrations on Youtube. It will give you a good idea what you are getting into. Only had it less than a month, but so far so good and I highly recommend.

Great visuals, great product
Bought this webcam to dive into a little bit of a hobby with online streaming, found this webcam definitely did the trick it has fantastic picture visuals does have 1080p as advertised has a lot of good features has a built-in microphone which at sometimes does Echo do to the fact that it is not going to be as close to your face as a microphone should be so you're kind of far away and if there's any sort of background Echo it's going to catch up on the cam which is a good thing because it shows that the microphone works well and picks up sound good and it's a bad thing because it's obviously not going to sound the greatest one attacking and you're speaking into it. The webcam has served me well over the last 4 years I still have this webcam and use it on my computer for video calls and conferences on teams when I'm conducting business for my career it's a great product for the price it's picture quality is the same as any of the big brands like Logitech etc great product for the price has a nice little bendable clip that allows you to clip it into different ways on the top of your monitor or however you decide to mount your webcam you can sit on the table or you can clip it to the edge of the monitor it's a nice feature and allows for customization to fit your needs would recommend the product to anybody who needs a webcam at a reasonable price

Very good webcam
Amongst the worst of the pandemic, there was a rush for these types of cameras that made it very difficult to get them in stores. Buying online is very tricky as we can't really tell what quality we're going to get and there is a lot of false advertising. I found that sticking to brands was safer and although I had never used this brand, I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The camera quality is good, well made, solid, not flimsy. The camera felt it had the same quality I would get from a store purchased product, instead of a cheap knock off. The picture quality is quite good, but this is a tricky aspect because we are always going to want more. I will say that for a webcam this is a great choice and you should be happy with the product. Compared to others in the same category, the quality is definitely quite good. The colors, shadows and auto focus are all good for a webcam. Now, there are definitely faster, higher quality and better webcams, but not for the same price range. For the money, this is a great deal and the fact that it works so well, it's definitely very good. The installation was non-existent, I simply plugged it in, and it worked! can't beat that. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great looking camera
After looking for the logitech c920, and not having any success, I came to amazon to find similar cameras. I was considering this camera, along with others, until I found a video online comparing this Papalook camera to the c920. In the video, I must say the video quality on the papalook actually looked better than the c920, so I ordered the camera. Disclaimer: I have not used the c920 so I can't really compare the two but I am very happy with this camera. Picture quality is very good, and it works with OBS and Streamlabs OBS. If you can't find the c920 anywhere and are looking for a good quality camera, this is a great alternative. The only thing I wish this had was a privacy cover, but other than that it is great.

It's not bad, it's just not quite good.
I bought this late into the COVID pandemic (June, 2020), as it was one of the few webcams in stock. With that in mind, image quality is decent. it's reasonably sharp, autofocus is relatively quick and accurate, and it handles lower-light scenarios reasonably well, if slightly noisy (my first pic is lights off, subject lit only by the computer screen). that's the good. The bad: - For any application that can be used on mobile, like skype, facetime, cisco webex, or microsoft teams, this camera will probably not beat most modern smartphone cameras in image quality. - despite lowlight sensitivity being decent, dynamic range is poor. If you're heavily backlit, like if you have a bright window behind you or a bright light source in frame, there's a decent chance you'll be a dark silhouette. - The lens on the camera is very poorly coated, such that ghosting and flaring is abysmal. so again, if you have a bright light source in frame, it's not hard to get very distracting relatively clear [reflections], that can obscure the subject, ie. your face. In pic no. 2, the subject is barely off centre, and very much obscured by ghosting. - it's a relatively wide angle lens, at least to my taste. I'm not a large person, but at about a foot and a half from the camera, my shoulders take up about half the frame. This is great if you want to have multiple people in frame, and don't have a lot of space in which to do it. However, if you're planning on using this for business and you gotta look professional, a wide angle means you have that much more background to police for distracting mess and unfriendly light sources. - in my line of business, i use Citrix software to connect to remote computers or virtualized desktops (via VDI or Citrix Receiver). This webcam either crashes those programs, or isn't recognised. this could be a citrix problem, or a papalook problem, but the point remains, if either of those two programs are a major part of your workflow, this webcam won't work straight out the box, and if it can be made to work, it'll probably take considerable technical know-how. for all the image quality downsides, i had to fork out 100 CAD before tax. somewhere between 65 and 75 USD at time of posting. as a hobbyist photographer and a relatively techsavvy person, i could make the camera work for me. If you can live with or work around a little flare/glare/ghosting, this camera's okay. but if you're not all that tech savvy, if your uses are more niche than skype or microsoft teams or facetime, or if you wanna start streaming professionally, i'd say maybe wait for amazon to restock logitech C9xx series cameras, cause this webcam's certainly not worth 100 CAD. 30-60 maybe.
