This ruler helps with making straight cuts. Like all Creative Grids rulers, it doesn't move around on the fabric. This size works well for smaller pieces of fabric. I wish I had bought the larger ruler, because this is easy to use and I often cut larger widths of fabric. It is a little pricy for only cutting smaller pieces of fabric.

Nice but not really super thick

One of quilt patterns required this ruler. It is great! It has weight to hold it without slipping. It is also great for cutting triangles, rectangles and squares. This ruler works the best on smaller widths of fabrics. I cut my pieces in record time, and they were very accurate.

Very handy and I use it all the time

It’s a nice size to work with My only complaint is one strip was cracked, probably due to the way it was packaged. I needed it right away so I didn’t have time to get it replaced.

A friend of mine had one of these slotted multi cut rulers in the largest size so I tried it out before I bought this. I did not really think I needed the $80 ruler, and mostly need it for smaller block sizes or rectangles . At first, I was very disappointed in this ruler., because I was getting slivers in the plastic and not a smooth cut. I realized I had the wrong type of rotary cutter. So I purchased a new 45 retractable rotary cutter, and now this ruler works great. I did have to file the sliver down before I tried it out with my new rotary cutter. The rotary cutter blade must come out before you put it in into the groove. A pushed down rotary cutter blade does not work well. Note I have done this video one handed (with a little weight on it).

Came earlier than originally stated. To be honest I felt it being shipped in a bubble wrap mailer was under wrapped but luckily there was no damage to the ruler. Haven’t actually tried it out yet so cannot comment on that but it is def a genuine Creative Grids ruler.

Just like the larger stripology ruler, this one is perfect and is a great tool for perfect cutting. I still think it is quite pricey

I can’t cut straight to save my life so I thought this might help. Yes, it’s not cheap but the ease with which I can now cut straight means it’s fantastic value. The little dots on the bottom grip the fabric so there is no risk of the ruler slipping. I’ve got these in two sizes. If you want to cut strips, it’s so easy. I would definitely recommend these rulers.

Cheaper versions are just not worth it, believe me I tried them. This ruler does everything needed for measuring and cutting and is non slip. I wish I had bought it straight away.
