Purchased this to help discourage mice. We have a large yard with an utility easement behind our property that gets overgrown quickly and mice like to live there. Plus our house is almost 100 years old -lots of cracks, etc. We put some peppermint on cotton balls anywhere and everywhere the mice might get in...wee also put behind furniture canned goods, near heating vents...The scent permeates the house and discourages them . This was a great size so we saved some money. Plus our house always smells goodI Of course we wouldn't use it for flavoring food. or young children or pets would chew on it.

I'm not sure if this product is really pure, but the smell of it is very strong and powerful. I love this oil. I have tried other brands and they were not strong. When I am congested, I inhale it. I add it and lavendar oil to my bath water. It leaves my body feeling fresh, clean and relaxing. I also, add a few drops to hot boiling water in my potpourri pot . Let it boil for 10-15 minutes, what an excellent aroma throughout my house . I have purchased 3 bottles and will continue to buy. I have not negative comments at this time. It works for me and I love It !!!!

This product was very effective in repelling rodents that tried to nest in a storage shed. After a few applications the rodents chose to find accommodations elsewhere. It has multiple purposes. I spray it around the outside of the house to repel insects. I add it to cleaning solution for my floors for extra cleaning power and fresh scent. I even use it in a diffuser and topically to relieve migraine pain. A little goes a long way so this big bottle lasts a long time. My only negative is that when it's diluted the scent seems to fade a little too quickly.

We use Peppermint oil in water to spray under our cars to repel squirrels and chipmunks. We also have learned that bees do not like the smell, so we are using it to defend our cedar home from the bee swarms that try to make a home every spring. The cost of this oil is very affordable and it goes a long way when mixed in water. It also comes in a beautiful box with an eyedropper to control the amount we use. I would recommend this product to anyone needing an inexpensive alternative to the other, very expensive, oils.

I was on the fence about ordering this PEPPERMINT scented oil. Mainly because of all the reviews. I'm one to not be a follower and make my own decisions. I KNEW ONE DAY THAT WOULD BITE MY IN THE A**! This is by far the worst PEPPERMINT OIL EVER!! Not only is the scent super light, but it also has a weird undertone to it. From now on, I'll either listen to the reviews (like my husband ALWAYS DOES) or stick with tried and true. I was just looking for something a bit cheaper than the $20 bucks for the 4oz that I normally pay for. (Money was a little tight this week) I remained optimistic because the majority of the other reviews used the oil for different purposes. I was solely using this in my oil burner. I'm used to my home smelling like a peppermint candy factory. now it smells like.................. I don't know what this smell is. But I DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL.

This is a large bottle of peppermint oil and the sent is very strong. I was lucky to find this oil and have no regrets. Will purchase again.

This is a nice quality peppermint oil and a good quantity for the price. I use it to keep away the creepy crawlies, especially in the spring when they seem to come out of the woodwork. I'll keep purchasing this brand.
