Easy to use and setup

Bought this when my original controller failed. I really like that installation and programming are simple. I don’t need another app on my phone so this was perfect.

The dial makes programming straightforward, and setting up all 4 zones took just a few minutes. It’s reliable, runs my system without issues, and the manual run feature is great for quick testing. Perfect for anyone who wants a no-nonsense irrigation controller without complicated menus.

Had my irrigation company set this up. When we went to run it, we were heading out of town. Discovered that the controller turned on multiple zones and would not turn them off. Thousands of gallons of water I now have to pay for.

I'm very happy with my new irrigation controller. It was very easy and intuitive to program and install. (It replaces one that was made in 1991, that still worked but the old buttons were starting to give out.) The simplicity is very nice. I like the "Budget" setting that acts as a multiplier from 10% to 200% for all the time settings, without having to reprogram them all. Following installation I ran a quick manual test of all zones; by using the budget setting temporarily at 10% it ran through 1.5 hours of watering in 9 minutes, confirming that it all works. Easy peasy.

Be aware that this unit ships from the USA with a 120 to 24 volt transformer with US pins. This purchase was to replace the previous unit bought in Australia which lasted 10 years so I had the power supply unit 240 volt to 24 volts.
