I can also use some of the styles they demonstrate, like the pirate-hat looking one, if I feel like changing it up a bit. The material works great even for a long workout. During particularly long runs I can take it off and run it under a hose, wring it out, and put it right back on for some instant cooling. I can't comment on winter usage, or if it will keep me warm, but it works very well in the high heat of summer. I plan on buying at least one more of these so I have a backup.
