As I was starting to contact Amazon to return them, I tried one last time to try to connect the charging cable, and I noticed that if I plugged it in a certain way with the phones in a certain position the light finally appeared and stayed on. So I will give the phones a better rating now in hopes of them working again.I liked the headphones but in less than a month they would not charge or turn on anymore. It was my first pair of noise-cancelling headphones, and I was impressed that they did a pretty good job of silencing the background noises. The sound quality was good enough but when they did not even last a month, of course I am now "turned off" about this brand. I am just glad I did not spend too much money on them in the first place, and am in the process of trying to return them...too bad because it is a good looking, comfortable product.PS...I finally gave up trying to get the phones to charge so I returned them to Amazon, and am trying a different pair. It's range is pretty good, I can leave my room with the door closed go into another room and close the door and still get very good bluetooth connectivity and audio. The sound is great. The headphones fits overs my ears but because my head is a small size it doesn't fit snug on my head. The noise cancellation is okay as it lessen the outside sound but not completely as I can still hear the noise from my fan. It's a good product for what I needed it for. Folds neatly. My neighbor's dog harasses me at their fence when I work along the property line and these did the job of turning a severe annoyance into a non-issue, so I'd say the noise cancelling works well for my needs. We'll see how it works with lawn mower later this year.
