smelled at first, like everyone said, but not like urine. like vey strong dye. they came packed well, all tied together and easily separable. but I didn't want to take them apart until I rinsed them. i put them in a bucket and filled it with warm water until they were well covered and then put in 2 to 3 tablespoons of my favorite, non-harsh laundry soap (Mrs. Meyers). i swished the water around and made sure the leaves were saturated and below the water line. i then let them soak for about an hour. i checked on them after about a half hour and swished them some more and added another tablespoon of laundry soap. after an hour I took them out and carefully dumped out the green water. i hung the leaves to dry outside and left them in the twist ties so they wouldn't tangle. i checked the smell while they were still wet and I didn't smell anything but the light scent of my laundry soap. when they were fully dry they didn't stink, they smelled lovely. they also felt like all the excess color had washed off (they were slightly tacky or dirty feeling from the dye). they were shiny and beautful!!! like other reviewers said, they are very delicate and they are lifelike. i love the look of them and totally would buy them again.

Bought these for my bathroom. They are thin but we are adding additional plants to add to above the shower where these are hanging. They do have a smell to them but i took the advice and soaked them in warm water and dish soap and left it for 24hours. I let them air dry and there's no smell now. the leaves come off if theyre tugged too hard but i just loop them back or collect them to use for other projects. But! i really like them and my whimsical shower is coming together.

Lovely addition to my daughter's garden party themed birthday! They were VERY stinky right out of the bag so we let it sit outside overnight and it was fine the next day. Threaded them around some fairy lights and was not disappointed. Keeping these up forever to keep my den magical.

I absolutely loved this purchase. The vines are packaged together and you do have to separate them but none of them tore and they are very well made. Very easy to sort and use. They appeared very realistic. They are very thick as well! Only con: they did have an odd smell to them that did disappear after a day of hanging up.

They are beautiful and look natural. However, every time the wind blows the leaves fall off. Too delicate for outside.

Worked wonderfully for my friends 40th Greek Roman themed party! Definitely took the leaves out a couple days before to let them air out, as there was a chemically smell straight out of the package. But no scent after the fact. They were of good quality, but don't pull/tug on them too much (especially when separating them) as the leaves will come off.

Overall these did well for the project I am doing. They are a little fragile so I wouldn't yank or be rough with them (a few leaves fell off when I opened the package but other than that they were good). The pack I got came with 9 vines, they were good thickness when I layered them. I actually had 4 vines left over that i can use for other projects so i got my moneys worth out of them. They aren't super realistic but when blended with other products they look nice. I don't think they would look good on their own though. In the picture they are tucked around/behind the white flowers along the top. I just needed them as a filler/accent and they did the job well. I'm satisfied with this purchase and would buy them again.
