I have been looking for a glycolic product that does not come in a plastic container. I came across this and was a bit apprehensive but so happy I went ahead with ordering it. It absorbs well and has good ingredients as too. I was previously using Replenix and I have to say this product is superior to the big brand name. Makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated.

Great product with reasonable pricing

I have used 20% glycolic acid cream for over 20 years in my skincare regimen, so my skin is accustomed to regular exfoliation. I read about the benefits of matrixyl and wanted to add it to boost collagen production and plump up my skin. I swapped this out for my usual glycolic cream about five weeks ago and I am already seeing improvement, especially in the skin along my jawline and around my eyes. As a mid-50s woman, my jawline is softening in a way that bothers me, but this cream is restoring a tighter, more youthful look. It's also effective at targeting the smile lines around my eyes. I'm also using this on my decollette and it's really improving the look of my crepe-y, sun-damaged skin on my chest. The cream is rich, but not heavy; it absorbs quickly with no white residue. It goes on smooth and easy, more like a water-based serum than a heavy, oily cream. A little goes a long way; I use a dime-sized dab for my entire face, neck, and chest. I dot it on my forehead, cheeks, chin, neck, and chest and then lightly massage it in. It has an unusual fragrance; it's not unpleasant, but it's definitely not what you'd associate with most scented skincare products. I suspect it's the natural smell of the formulation with no additional perfumes. It took a bit of getting used to, but it's not something that keeps me from using this daily. It's not so strong it makes my eyes water, which has happened with some scented products. When I first apply the product, there is very mild tingling—not burning, just a gentle tingle which I like to think is evidence it's working or at least doing something good. It makes my skin feel invigorated. It doesn't cause any redness or anything. I am using it around my eyes as I would an eye cream and I haven't had any ill effects. The product doesn't say not to use it that way, but it's not marketed as an eye cream. I have always used my glycolic products in the eye area, so I continued that practice with this. I think it's showing visible improvement in my eye area. For reference, this cream is part of my daily night-time regimen which includes vitamin C and niacinamide serums, and 2% retinol every other day. I apply this first and let it absorb before applying the serums, which may not be the order it's supposed to be used, but I feel like the glycolic in the cream helps the serums absorb better. I also use a 30% glycolic acid peel as maintenance every week or two for deeper exfoliation. So far, this cream is performing much better overall than my previous glycolic acid cream, so I would say adding matrixyl is smart if you want to improve the look and feel of mature skin. A friend I hadn't seen in a couple of months complimented me on my complexion, so I don't think I'm imagining the results. I would encourage you to give it a try if you want to supercharge your anti-aging routine.

I don't know if people actually understand the benefits of glycolic acid, let alone the bonus of finding a product with 20% glycolic acid (collagen-building), along with Matrixyl (for wrinkles) and COQ10! But the price on a product like this if was ... say ... L'Oreal or Olay ... would be at least 3 times the price of this incredible product because of advertising costs ... AND ... you would never find ingredients this strong in either of those other brands. 20% Glycolic takes some time to build up to. You cannot simply slather this stuff on if you aren't used to glycolic acid at this strength. For comparison, you might find over the counter glycolic acid in 3 to 5%. So ... start s-l-o-w-l-y. Use at night WITH your moisturizer. Try 2 to 3 times a week for starters. Then give it about 3 months to really see the difference. I use it daily now on my decolletage all the way up to my forehead. I use it on my legs during the winter for when I get that really thick dry skin. I can't say it often or loud enough ... THIS PRODUCT IS SO WORTH THE PRICE. The combination of ingredients is incredible. It's not slick packaging, just GOOD WORTHWHILE INGREDIENTS. Give it time!! Benefits: Crepey skin, acne-scarred skin, brown spots, firming and lifting ... honestly ... it does it so much. Then wear sunscreen during the day! Glycolic acid makes your skin more susceptible to burning in the sun, but I'll take that over the other ugly stuff any day.

This product is much thicker and more pasty than the cream or lotion I expected.

I’m 46 and love trying new products for my skin. I was using another brand but wanted something more affordable. This glycolic acid product really makes a visible difference on my skin, to the extent that for the first time in years, I’m going out without makeup. My discoloration (redness, hyperpigmentation, under eye darkness) are all gone and my pores look smaller. Had to write a review as this is worth every penny and more. Looks like the product has changed or I got a rancid bottle my last two orders. Returning and ordering a third time, to give it a last chance. Would be a shame if they’re letting it go bad. Use to smell like bananas. Now just smells like wax old product.
