I underestimated the wife’s reaction to the brown patches so I chose to paint the shower floor with Rust-Oleum Tub & Tile instead of continuing a weeklong argument about remodeling for a custom shower. Followed the instructions and mixed about half of the content for 4 to 5 thick coats. I highly recommend using 4” nap rollers which will hide the brushstrokes due to the thickness of the paint and helps spread the rubber evenly. I hand tossed the SoftSand Rubber Particles SR-101 Non-Skid Coatings after the third and fourth coats to provide texture to the floor pan. That made a huge difference!After the third coat I tossed in the rubber over the wet paint, ensuring even coverage, and followed up with another coat while the original coat was still wet. The nap roller grabs a lot of the rubber from thinker areas and helps it to spread evenly across the wet paint . I repeated this process one more time after the third coat was dry and use the remaining to fill-in the gaps. The entire pack was used to put a thick coat on the shower pan and I can confirm that the shower floor is not at all slick, even with soap and conditioner on the floor, but still feels comfortable on bare feet.Pictures are of the white paint and if you look closely you can see the texture added by this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great non-slip floor paint additive! *by B***9 on Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2017* I painted a wooden deck and wanted a non-slip finish but also wanted one that wasn't uncomfortable for pets and bare feet. The results are exactly what I was going for. I didn't follow package directions which called for stirring the entire bag into a can of paint because I had railings and vertical slats that didn't need the non-slip finish and I didn't want to waste the product. I simply stirred some into the paint in roller pan each time I was painting a flat surface and it worked beautifully. I added a bit more on the steps. No slipping and it doesn't hurt bare feet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Low coverage, but the non slip works really well! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2020* I applied it following boat works today's guidelines - that is to sprinkle it heavily onto a wet painted surface. The coverage the company lists is no where near right for this, you probably want 8x what they recommend. Once you get to that level, you need to spend a lot per square foot.
