Kit has everything you need, including needles. I had never done a pre-printed design before and I've gotta say I LOVED it. It feels like cheating it made things so much easier and quicker. Washing it was pretty simple, I just put a little hand soap in a sink with lukewarm water and sort of swished it around for a bit.
