LUCID 4" Down Alternative & Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Queen – Three Toppers in One – Fitted Sheet Style, 100% Cotton

Product was packaged professionally. After opening, I set product out in spare room as directed for 48 hours for foam to expand completely. It is compressed in package. They provide a tool like an envelope opener for cutting package with company logo on it (nice touch). The foam is sized well to fit mattress completely. The padding is also sized well and wrapped completely over foam and matress. I previously had shoulder and hip pain while sleeping as I am a side sleeper. For the last 3 nights since putting the product on my bed I have never slept so sound. I even took a nap in there and sleep 4 hours, which I have never done before. The product is a good combination of padding as well as a soft contour for your body to prevent pressure point pain. I am extremely pleased with the product. My only concern would be that the product performs as well after 3-6 months. I will give an update, but for the money spent, it has been worth it, even for these 3 nights so far and that nap. OMG. Some may say it is warm or has too much sink, but not for me. My lower back did well on it too. No discomfort or pain anywhere after waking. This is a well thought out product package.

My old mattress just got a new lease on life with this awesome combo topper. I've used only down ones in the past and only foam ones in the past, and this is a great combination of the two that remains cool for me throughout.the night. After unpacking and letting it air out for 2 days I was ready. Since I just caught a cold, I can't tell if there is a lot of off-gassing. The down alternative fitted too sheet feels very smooth and cool to the touch. The comfort level it brought to my body and sleep is so nice whether I am on my side, back, or stomach. It was a great investment that I have already recommended to friends.

First picture is misleading-it shows a fluffy 2” free standing topper on top of the foam, when in fact it’s a fitted mattress cover. Definitely not filled as high as the picture shows. The foam barely had any smell, so we just sat it out for a day. (& I’m very sensitive to smells) It did not make us hot because it’s on the bottom with the fluffy mattress cover on top. We also have a real down pillow topper which we put on top of it all, so we’re happy with the comfort.

I bought this almost 2 years ago to add padding to my bed, as it was too hard for me. I immediately was happy with the topper, and I slept much better. I have never had any issues, and this is still in excellent condition. I like that it protects the mattress as well. How can you go wrong buying this if it's still comfortable 2 years later.....

I have the hardest mattress. I forgot about it while I was using a slanted topper to deal with reflux issues. Reflux is now under control and no longer needed the slanted surface, so was excited to go back to my normal, flat bed. Ouch - hard as a rock. Everything ached. Originally was thinking, well time to just give in and buy a new mattress. Decided to give this a try, hoping to save some money. It did the trick - two nights now and nearly all my aches and pains are gone. It basically is a thinner (2inch) memory foam pad and then a mattress pad on top that has a squishy 2 inch pad. To keep it all protected, I still used a regular mattress cover over that. It stays in place perfectly, no sliding to the sides or drifting, that I can sense so far. It only added about 3 inches height to my bed (squishes down a bit with my mattress pad on top), but I can still feel my hip getting that break to sink in when sleeping on my side. Will update if anything changes, but happy (better rested) camper for now. Oh - and I took it out and was going to leave it for the 48 hours recommended to puff up and off-gas, but within 2 hours all the creases were gone and I never smelled a thing, so it was on my bed within a half day of arriving.

I originally purchased the medium "LUCID 10 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress" by itself and found it to be just a little too firm for my tastes. I'm 25yr old man and 170lbs, I don't think I'm obese or anything, but I found I wanted a little more "give" from the mattress. It just felt way too flat. In hindsight I should've just purchased the medium-plush version of the mattress. After a couple weeks, and constant searching on Amazon, I decided this "Lucid Foam Mattress Topper Combo" would be the most comfortable solution! It would keep the gel topper in place, which I've heard can be an annoying problem, and offer me extra comfort through the cotton mattress pad. It would be the best of both worlds, in ultimate comfort. Boy was I wrong. Well, sort of. I found that having both was indeed very comfortable, almost a new mattress really. It had a nice give to it and felt like being hugged by a blanket. However, I discovered just that. Being hugged by a cotton blanket is very hot. It's been almost a month now and I've been waking up sweating eveyday, it's just too hot and not worth the extra "give". I live in Colorado, it's summer now, and it's just too much. This is coming from a dude who grew up in gross swampy Florida. Anyway, I'm going to remove the cotton mattress pad, contact the company, and replace it with a normal fitted sheet and use just the gel topper. I'll keep you updated on that. I think that's a better solution, unless you live in Antartica or Alaska or something and want the extra warmth. (Plus using the cotton pad gives your mattress those weird checkered marks on your bed). Anyway, hope that helps!

This is an amazing topper! It has a lot of great reviews already, which helped us make the purchase. Now that we've owned ours for months, I'm going to use mine to address some of the issues others said they had. 1. Smell: It smelt like "packaging"...wasn't a foul odor at all. As we waited for the topper to "rise" it aired itself out and by the time we put it on the bed there was no smell noted. 2. Pain relief: I have a really bad back, and it has definitely helped me sleep better, and wake up less stiff. Did my pain disappear? No...it's unrealistic to expect it to. Am I sleeping a lot better? Hell. yes. 3: Heat: For us, it's definitely NOT making our bed hotter. We live in Arizona....it was 108° yesterday. We do sleep on 100% Modal Beech sheets, so idk if sleeping on quality sheets makes a difference or not. But ya know, it's a dry heat...Ha! 4: Durability: It hasn't lost its shape yet! The pillow topper is definitely not 2 inches as you'll see in my video. It has very deep pockets though and keeps everything in place very nicely! So if I were to measure it, it's not quite as thick as they say it is. That being said, it is holding up! My Husband is a very large man. 6'4" 300 lb retired D-Lineman to be exact, and his side has not flattened AT ALL! So I assume it's going to hold up very well! Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase! We loved it so much, we bought one for our daughter as well! If you're looking for a great topper, look no further!

I bought this mattress topper for a mattress I purchased that was incredibly firm. They say to give it 24hrs to expand but I was too impatient and put it on after about 10 minutes. My mattress was instantly transformed, it is so comfortable and soft, it also fits my queen mattress perfectly and have had no issues with it moving around! The only thing I will say is it does hold body heat but honestly is no big deal for the comfort. I broke my back a few years ago and struggle to get comfortable at night with this I am comfortable in minutes and sleep through the night! Totally worth the money spent!!
