These are for use with oral medication or tube feeding. They can be washed in warm soapy water or sterilised with Milton and reused. The exception is people who are immunocomprimised or people who have feed into the small bowel they may be advised not to reuse due to higher risk of infection. We find washing and reusing them can last a month or so before they go a little stiff, the markings do not rub off at all and you do not need to scrub to get them clean they generally last well.

Could anyone tell me the length of these syringes? My child takes liquid medication each day, and only the longer Calpol syringes reach to the bottom.

These syringes are 5ml and roughly around 7cm long. They do not reach a 100ml bottle so I have the bottle adapters so you can clip the syringe onto the adapter and turn the bottle upside down to syringe the medication out into the syringe.

The contents spill from the syringe

It took a while to arrive. Difficult to know which mark to use for the amount. There are 3. And a few drops spill every time they are used. I threw them away.
