Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, 8 Fluid Ounce

This stuff works wonders for my unruly hair!!! I have super thick, dry, wavy hair and just getting a comb through it on a daily basis is a real chore. This Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask is the only product I've found that actually works for me as expected in the shower: I put a nice dollop in my hands and really focus on the ends of my hair, comb out the tangles and I let it stay on for 7-10 minutes. I'm left with super soft hair that is actually easy to manage once it's styling time, plus it leaves my hair smelling great! I have a lot less fly-aways and barely any issues with humidity ruining my 'do nowadays, and those were huge problems for me before finding this stuff. I have purchased this deep repair mask on Amazon multiple times, as well as in Ulta stores and TJ Maxx/Marshalls, and I've never experienced a counterfeit yet but I always order via Amazon Prime when I'm buying it online. I've noticed when the product just sits unused and is possibly expired the color and consistency starts to look different, but that doesn't mean it's a fake...it's just too old. This hair mask can be expensive at times, but other times Amazon and the stores have them at pretty great prices so you just gotta keep an eye out and wait to get lucky. This stuff lasts me a long time but I only use a handful once a week, and I always make sure I have a backup tub so I never run out. Overall, this Macadamia Oil mask has been a miracle for my hair and I would definitely recommend it to all.

okay, so let me start off with my hair type: -thin hair -black -non-color treated -asian -damaged, dry, brittle next, let me just say i've only used this product for two-three weeks, so my review probably isn't the BEST one. okay, now onto the actual review... if you're hoping for this product to repair your split ends, it's not the product. in fact, any product on the market isn't because the only way you can repair split ends is by cutting it, as sad as that sounds. however, this product is AWESOME at restoring moisture back into your hair, making it shinier, softer, and easier to comb through. it may weight your hair down if you use it at the roots, so i recommend focusing it on the ends and placing a tiny bit on the mid-section. apply on roots if you have thick hair. as for the smell, it depends on your "smell palette" it's either a hit or miss. for me, its a definite hit. it smells somewhat floralish (in some strange way) and makes you feel really clean. (: [for me at least] i would definitely recommend this product, it works wonders!

My hair: long, straight, colored, thin and fine, very dry and damaged This mask is AMAZING. I used this as directed on my straw-like hair, and it feels like HAIR hair again! I can't remember the last time my hair has felt this great and STAYED feeling this great. I was using Joico Moisture Recovery Balm before this and that would leave my hair nice and soft, but it never truly felt HYDRATED nor did it last more than a day. This Macadamia Oil left my hair hydrated 'til I decided I should deep condition again, which was four days later (I think that's gonna be my routine from now on). That is a record for me because my hair usually goes back to being dry after the next wash, but this mask feels like it's actually healing/repairing my hair. And you would think that this being a deep conditioner/mask would be heavy and weigh down your hair (it's why I usually only condition the bottom half of my hair), but it gave my hair -not volume- but BODY! My hair feels so light and dandy! I don't normally take the time to write reviews anymore, but I'm so happy and excited with this product that I just can't contain it. I make all sorts of people at my work touch my hair now, and I've been having good hair days all week :). LOVE! PS: The first time I used the mask, I used a clarifying shampoo (by Redken, it's amazing too) right before it to get rid of all the build-up so that my hair would just suck all this bad boy up. I think the combo worked really well.

I have platinum blonde hair that is naturally 2c curly/wavy. It was like straw and not curling very well before using this product due to a new hair dresser leaving bleach on too long and frying it. I've worked in hair salons so I knew I would just need to get a more expensive professional deep conditioner. I've tried numerous deep conditioners and wasn't getting the results I was looking for. I asked an old co-worker who's clients always had the nicest hair leaving the salon what she uses, surprisingly she said she uses this one. So I knew I had to give it a try. It's reasonable in price when comparing to professional products and I read tons of great reviews. So I was very excited to try it. After one use...Omg!!! It's the holy grail for hair! My hair was like silk and way more manageable. My hair hasnt felt this soft since I had virgin hair. It smells soooo good! I could see repair after one use. I love how the softness lasted until my next wash. Everyone has been commenting on how great my hair looks and how soft it is. My bf won't stop touching and smelling my hair, even he is obsessed with how it makes my hair feel and smell. My hair only gets better with each use. I'm no where near being done with the first tub but I'm already going to order another if not two of these just so that I always have it on hand and never run out! If your not sure about buying, do yourself a favor and just buy it! It's worth every penny and then some!

I just want to let everyone know that the product I received was fake! So, if you want the real deal, you might as well go to Target and get it for just a few more dollars! I know I will only be purchasing from Target, HOWEVER, my experience with the one from Amazon was still wonderful! After one use, it honestly made my hair look better than it had ever looked. It was so soft and flowy, I couldnt believe it. I was so amazed at it and told myself I would always use this hair mask. Before purchasing the product from Amazon, I actually didnt read the reviews because I had already heard so many great things about it so as soon as I saw the price, I got it! Not too later after using the product for the first time, I decided to read the reviews and saw people were saying it was fake. Then, I looked up images of the real macadamia mask and saw that it was a lot more thicker than the one I had received. It looked like butter and had a more whitish yellow color, whereas mine was dark. So, the product I received was fake, but I still loved how it worked! I told myself "just imagine what the real product would work like since this one works great as well" so I now will be trying the real product from Target.

UPDATE!! Ok, so I wasn't sure if I liked this or not when I FIRST got it and used it a few times. My hair was already in good condition so I guess thats why I didn't see much of a difference. I took this product with me to Puerto Rico. While i was there (before I tried this in PR) my hair looked crappy. The curls were ugly, not bouncy and it just looked dull. So I decided to use this..... And I'm glad i did. I left it in my hair for several minutes, rinsed, got out of the shower and styled. BOOM- my curls were back and my hair had LIFE!! Plus it smelled REALLY good. My hair was shiny, the curls were bouncy and I was happy. So was my husband because he loves my curls. I always get compliments on how nice my curls are and how good my hair smells lol. My mother loved the way my hair smelled so much that she went ahead and ordered one for herself. I felt bad for even doubting this product in the beginning. Whether it's fake or not- I don't know. Doesn't matter anymore. All I know is that it works. I even ordered the larger size since I'm all out of the first one i bought. Great product. By the way, I have long, curly, 3a hair. OLD REVIEW: First of all, I'm not sure if I even received the real thing or a fake. I've checked some of the real macadamia natural oil masque reviews on youtube and they were white, mine is beige. It did the same thing my neutrogena deep recovery hair masque does., But I do love the smell! i'lll continue using it until it finishes, but it's Nothing special, i was looking for that wow factor. Didn't get it from this. I'm going to see if I can buy the one ounce packet and compare products, I have a feeling it's a fake. If anyone knows for sure what the real product is supposed to look like please feel free to comment.

The tub is really pretty. In fact, to me, it looks like a coconut (Forget the green part of it ). Brown on the outside and creamy white inside. The smell is literally HEAVENLY. Like you guys won't believe how rich, luxurious and amazing the smell is. The tub comes with directions and it says there that this is an intense repairing mask and thus should not be used more than twice a week. I totally agree with that. You should never overwhelm your hair with products, however amazing they are. I used it twice in the first week that I received it. Then on, I used it once every week. While applying it, at that time itself, hair feels super-duper soft. The directions on the tub says to apply it liberally onto wet hair. The very first time, I shampooed my hair and then applied it. I found my hair to be really dry after it completely air-dried. The second time though, I applied it to wet hair without shampooing and found that my hair had a really soft texture and was easily manageable. So that's how I have been using it since. The directions say to apply it for 7 minutes. I have timed myself every single time and never exceeded that time limit. However, I did find someone saying that they applied it for 20 minutes and then her hair was much more softer than a 7 minutes application. But well, I am happy with 7 minutes. I apply it only to the lower half of my hair (from the level of my ear and down). I believe that conditioners should not be applied to the scalp, because it's totally unnecessary. The new hair at the scalp is already nourished by the oils produced by our skin and does not require an external conditioning treatment. I would definitely purchase this again. I highly recommend this product to all. It does what it promises and that according to me, is a great deal!. It will be after quite a while though, because this tub is going to last me a LONG time.

I bought this product after doing some research on the internet about wavy and curly hair as I was trying to grow out my wavy/curly fine-to-medium texture semi-dry multiracial hair. I stumbled upon the name and decided to give it a try. Reading the ingredients list,I was surprised by the amount of oils in it but, having done sufficient research about the *types* of oils and noticing the absence of ones that are not good matches for my hair (petroleum, mineral oil and other heavier types that weigh down and leave far too much grease on the hair and scalp), I proceeded to purchase the product. The first thing I did was look at the product, feel its consistency and smell it. On these, the product scored high. The smell is a little strong but certainly not unpleasant. If you are sensitive about it, you may want to stay away from the product; otherwise, it's harmless and a delight. From the moment of application to the the moment the product is rinsed out, it is almost as if you feel it working on every strand. I experienced a slight tingle but nothing that was painful or biting. After I dried and styled with a little bit of styling product to add definition and to balance things a bit -- though not too much at all as the hair is already deeply hydrated, shiny and manageable --, the results were highly satisfactory. The product also scores high on ease-of-use. No time-consuming application and rinsing out. I have a very fast-paced life and that factor is essential to any hair care regimen. The feel on the hair is properly light and its appearance looks effortless. No more than 7 minutes on the hair and the product delivers the goods! I would highly recommended for others like myself and, though I cannot speak for people of other ethnic backgrounds, giving this a go might be just what you need; especially if you are attempting to undo damage from chemical over-processing. Use of an SLS-free (Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulfate) shampoo before application maximizes the efficacy of this lightweight heavy-hitter.

Die Haare sind unglaublich weich und riechen mehrere Tage noch richtig gut danach. Man merkt richtig wie gut die haarpflege einzieht und wie leicht die haare im anschluss kämmbar sind. Der Preis ist schon relativ hoch, aber man benötigt pro haarwäsche nicht viel, daher hält sich die kur auch lange.

Ho provato maschere di ogni genere anche molto più costose e questa semplicemente fa rinascere i miei capelli. Unica cosa va lasciata a lungo sui capelli…io la utilizzo su capelli asciutti e la tengo tutta note poi al mattino procedo con shampoo e balsamo come normale
