Thanks ross** A: It comes assembled except for the support arms which just bolt in position. I found that adjusting the cutter wheel support bracket rollers to be tricky and took a lot of fiddling around to get a smooth and easy cutting action. Also adjusting the oil feed was also problematic. I got there in the end but its not the easiest of procedures. There are a lot better "big" tile cutters on the market but of course they can be up to 4 times the price. I suppose you get what you pay for. This one was no match for the 10mm thick 600mm x 300mhigh glaze floor tiles as they would not break in a straight line after scoring. We eventually used it to mark the line and wet cut to the line afterwards. **Q: Does this cut porcelain tiles** A: Yes it is suitable for porcelain **Q: What oil needed in oil pot ?** A: I find 3 in 1 oil very good, or any similar lubricating oil **Q: Does this come with a carrying case** A: No carry case mine went back in the box after use brilliant for large tiles ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Topway 1200mm manual Tile cutter *by H***D on 22 December 2024* I was pleasantly surprised.Well built, sturdy , priced very reasonable, cuts extremely well and accurate. I am fitting 1200x600 porcelain tiles .I had to line up the machine myself which is very simple.I marked my tile top and bottom lined up the wheel with my fine pencil marks then my cuts were 100% when lined it up correctly.I did not depend on laser guide as it wasn't visible at the other end of the machine, it's not essential anyway.2 office bathrooms units completed so far, not one issue with machine so far , I'm very pleased even if broke tomorrow,it's paid for it self , at this rate I feel I'm going to get the other 4 units complete with this machine.Rear roller Wheels and carry handle makes it very portable.Brought spare cutting wheel just incase, first tile cutting wheel still cutting perfectly. They were mixed. Looked like a solid enough unit from the pictures. Received it the next day. Heavy box. Inside was the tile cutter and a few free bags of tile levelling clips, which was nice.There was a bit of assembly involved nothing major. The laser was out of line but very easy to adjust. Once I'd set everything up it was spot on with every single cut. The laser is something that I didn't know I needed in my life but now I'd always want to have one.My only negatives are that a few of the pieces like the extension arms and wheels are not has high quality. The fence to square things off is good or wide enough. I'd gladly pay double if those bits were made of better materials.If you've had problems using this tile cutter the issues are probably with you not using it correctly.Definitely recommend it ### ⭐⭐ Not accurately set up *by A***C on 1 March 2025* Heavy duty tile cutter that is well built and should last for years. It's unfortunate that it isn't accurately set up. It has a tendency for the tile to break before it separates where it is scored.
