I like this Homiguar insulated bottle enough that I bought a second one so I can take two protein drinks with me when I’ll be away from home for the day. I got the brushed silver finish, which is very attractive and stays surprisingly free of fingerprints. I especially like the fact that the bottle has no brand name splashed across it; I think the uncluttered silver finish gives it a more upscale appearance, if “upscale” can be applied to a protein drink mixer. I’ve found that the insulation really does keep the drinks at the same temperature I made them, even when I’ve left one sitting overnight; it’s reassuring that I don’t have to worry about spoilage, and I’ve never had a leak. I also liked the fact that the bottle came with both the plastic mixing ball and the metal one so I could decide which one worked better for me (I like the metal). One thing I want to mention has nothing to do with this specific blender, but it may help someone in my physical condition (rotten) decide whether to invest in one. When I started looking through the listings for a protein drink mixer, I had some concerns about how hard and how long I’d have to shake one to get the drink blended well; I have limited arm and hand strength. I contemplated the few battery-operated blenders but dismissed them after reading reviews that nearly unanimously stated they were inadequate; they all appeared to have the same mixing mechanism. My first attempt at mixing wasn’t auspicious, and I feared that I’d wasted money on something I wouldn’t be able to use. No matter how much I shook it, it wasn’t enough. My husband finished the job for me but stated that if it needed more shaking, I was on my own because he was “all shaked out.” The drink was fine, but I couldn’t very well expect him to shake every one I made (three a day per doctor’s orders or no surgery), and I contemplated returning it. Then I got the brainstorm of shaking it just a few times and letting it sit for a while before I mixed it again. I hoped that the powder would “melt” once it had gotten wet rather than turn into rocks. It worked beautifully. I found that if I shake it at three intervals, I’m sure to have a nice, smooth drink, with very little time actually spent on shaking. Sometimes I don't even actually shake the bottle; I just turn it up and down a few times, and the drink is fine as long as I do it three separate times. So arm strength doesn’t need to be a concern in mixing these drinks, and they don’t need to sit for very long between shaking sessions. I set mine on the counter and when I pass it again, I shake it a little more. It really couldn’t be more effortless. And this bottle is attractive enough that I don’t mind having it sit out all day.

If you have a tendency to forget your bottle in the car, this will change your life. Will not get ruined if it gets hot with protein residue in it still. AND it’s insulated so your post shake will still be cold by the time you’re done with your work out. The sip cap is so secure, will never leak on you.

Super easy to clean and very sturdy. It keeps things cold for around 6 hours. The only downside is it only keeps thing hot for about 2 hours. So all in all, it is a great, cost effective bottle for smoothies or shakes, but not effective as a thermos for hot beverages.

I have been using this shaker almost daily since I got it, and so far it has performed as it was advertised. The bottle was delivered in great condition (even though the packaging could be better) without any damage. The insulated bottle keeps my cold drinks cold and hot drinks steaming for hours. The lid is well made and so far no leaks during shaking. The insulation keeps the bottle free from moisture so I can maintain a good grip at all times. The bottle fits in my car cup holder without any issues. Overall, the bottle works great and I'm definitely getting this for my family for the holidays.

I just had to review this, as it is the Best shaker bottle I have ever owned. The improvements in my quality of life(easy to clean, no protein smell, keeps drinks cold for several hours) far outweigh the small purchase price. Not long before buying this, I began noticing digestive distress after going to and leaving the gym. That I chalked up to my old blender bottle being made of plastic and over time getting ridges inside by which bacteria could grow. My hunch was right, and since buying this shaker, I'm home free!

My boyfriend drinks protein all day everyday. He has a bunch of those plastic shakers, but wasn't a big fan. They smelled, and even stained. So I was happy when I found this shaker bottle. It's easy to clean! Doesn't leave a lingering smell, he said it's waaay better than the plastic ones, it seals tightly, doesn't leak. Ony thing he isn't use to is the twist cap. But not a big deal. Overall it's a great shaker for the price.

Doesn’t keep cold for very long. I mix my protein shake with cold water in the morning and add about 1/3 of the shaker with ice, then put it in the fridge. When I go to drink the shake around 8 hours later, the ice is completely melted. It’s still cold, but after a few hours out of the fridge it’s barely cold anymore. So nowhere near the “30 hours” it claims to keep drinks cold. If this is an issue for you, cannot recommend it.

Great shaker bottle. Doesn’t dent easily and feels really well made. Has plastic and metal balls for mixing pre work out (or whatever you want to mix) and my kids can also easily drink out of it. The spout is a perfect size and it’s very convenient. Keeps things cold. Very happy with this purchase
